    The producers did it

The people with the most money to be made from the results of the show are directly responsible for the rather ho-hum designs that were presented last night were the Project Runway producers. There's even that little snippet in the credits after the show saying the judges consulted with the producers to determine who was cut.

I was very disappointed in the mass of pret-a-porter designs being shuffled down that runway. While I wasn't expecting Versacci haute couture, it would have been nice to see something that gave an impression as to "this is what I design".

Santino definitely nailed Chloe. Everything she showed last night was excellently constructed, like the facade of a sky-scraper designed by Yamasaki rather than Gehry.
