Leighton is a firecracker, and every scene she's in is electric. I have a totally skeevy crush on her castmate Ed Westwick, too. I wrote GG off as Spellingesque soapy fluff until I watched a few episodes, now I have a Tivo season pass for it.

Must say, the show's a guilty pleasure, really shouldn't be watching- but Leighton Meester is just terrific. I'm glad she mentioned Bette Davis as a model, because I can so see it in her subtle looks- being able to transmit withering contempt with a glance is a real talent, lol. She makes the other character seem dull in comparison.
