I respect Jay more than Dubyah

Jay McCarroll knows himself. More than that, he respects himself.

He gets it. Life. Celebrity. The guy's a hearty, refreshing example of what it means to be genuinely human. Neither the fashion world nor the gay world can claim him. He can't and won't be pegged. His message is simple: Be yourself real time.

May his 15 minutes last longer than those who clutch his coattails. I do wonder what the deal was behind him not taking the $100K...

Thanks for the fabulous interview, Heather and Salon.
