With no end to the writers' strike in sight, charmingly weird Internet shows, from "The Maria Bamford Show" to "Clark and Michael," take center stage.
  • New Influence spreading... oldsters sniffing around!

    Dear Heather,

It's "adOpter," not early 'adApter'. Oh, yeah, about the new web shows: totally deriviative, mind-slowing and has-Been There since growing up in The Seventies.

It turns out that "Maria Bamford" is just a fake name for Chelsea Clinton, who is still guilting her parents over their choice of Infidelity and Constant Campaigning as a means to develop Esteem, Power and Self-Acceptance.

After her mom becomes Prez, "Maria" hopes to attend her own wedding to someone who writes about media, so she can spend the next eight years de-crying her miserable reality-TV family.

But seriously, folks, a movement is underway to put eyeball focus into the interactive medium of Web vs. TV gaze - because advertizers want to link retinas with ATM's so purchases don't have to go thru the messy, oft-confused filter of human brains.
