    A Show's Quality Is Not Measured...

    ... by the number of obsessives who spend hours a day posting theories about the show. It is about 75% horrifically acted, and its sense of mystery is only cumulative, meaning that it just enters the feedback loop for the obsessives.

    Here's a theory: they are making it up as they go along, using a rapidly rotating set of writers.
