  • What the...

I'm not sure what to think anymore about LOST. The story line gets progressively stranger but I'm so invested in the characters and so fascinated by the production, it's impossible to look away!

The producers said back at the very beginning they had enough story threads to run the series for 5 years. I'm guessing they're bound and determined to wear us all down to emotional wrecks by the time they finish 1) jerking us from one dimensional time shift to another, 2) whipsawing us back and forth on who is actually 'good' or 'bad' and 3) revealing what the hell the island really is!

Nevertheless, you gotta love the smoke monster - that was one helluva ride!

  • One of the best

I think that was one of the best episodes yet, and definitely in a LONG time. As for me, I HATE the smoke monster-- even typing "smoke monster" makes me cringe. I know there are obviously fantastical elements to the show, but this is one that absolutely is so ludicrous, it just pisses me off.

  • good to get my lost fix again

    yeah, back with a bang

  • I guess they couldn't get away with bumfights or dwarf-tossing

"needy families get dream vacations but have to spend them with Pauly Shore"

How terribly cruel humans can be.

On a serious note, it would've been nice if Heather or whoever wrote the "ALSO" paragraph had mentioned that the now-famous Jeremiah Wright will be on Bill Moyers' Journal tonight.

Maybe Bill will ask him if he thinks George Stephanopoulos loves America as much as he does. Or he could channel CNN's Bernard Shaw to ask the one question that George and Charlie forgot: "If Bill Clinton were raped and killed by Willie Horton, would you be in favor of the death penalty?"

  • Will never trust with Ben...

Fairly good episode. Desmond's call to Penelope is still my favorite moment thus far into Season 4. Though I am sure both Ben and Whitmore will in the end be surmised as deplorable, I am siding with Whitmore so far.
