Who wrote "Inside the Viet Nam War"?

Inside the Viet Nam War is almost over and I'm only staying for the end in order to see who is responsible for this meretricious nonsense. From National Geographis I expected a middle-of-the-road presentation but instead got a vicious melange of myth and mendacity. From the Gulf of Tonkin through Tet,from Hue City through the Cambodian Incursion the reporting was all slanted to "prove" that the U.S. lost the War ONLY because of Walter Cronkite,Dirty Hippie Protestors,White Doper REMF's and Lazy Black REMF's.That's it.No Historical Context and No Political Context. The "never before seen"film was my hook into the film but the "Stab in the Back" commentary was,in the words of Mark Twain, nothing but "Lies,Damned Lies and Statistics".

More propaganda

We did not lose the war in Vietnam for any of the reasons that this program tried to convince us. We lost the war because of the same thing that caused us to lose the war in Iraq, namely that we had no reason to be there in the first place. The vietnamese in large part did not want us there in the first place and were willing to fight harder to convince us to leave than we were willing to fight to stay. We must find some way to get our politicians to drastically reduce our military budget, in order to convince our generals to not enter any more wars that we have no business fighting.

America has no legitimate or legal right to be in Iraq!

Frontline's piece on the Rules of Engagement was as strange as it was revealing. From the get-go of the investigation into the Hadita murders, everyone involved, that is all the US Marines and their officers, consistantly "lied" about everything! Just endless lies from the first "Official" Marine report that said the 15 civilians were killed by an I.E.D. blast, when it was shown that none of the 24 Iraqi murder victims were anywhere near that explosion.

The underlying but inescapable theme of this video was that of the US Marines claiming "total innocence" while angrily denouncing anyone who would even dare accuse or indict such a vastly superior and noble a being as a US Marine! Obviously these US Marines and their bosses were absolutely polluted and corrupted with their shallow, mindless and self serving b.s.!

The bottom line though is that neither America nor the US Military has any legitimate or legal right to be in Iraq and murdering Iraqis,of any stripe,in the first place! The US Marines are claiming that they're too robotic and/or brain dead to know that!
