Speedracer, Kimba, Dodo, et. al...
...were all great cartoons valued strictly for their camp appeal. They were so bad they were good, & even as a kid growing up in the 60's I recognized that & loved 'em for it (although Speedracer was a little after my time). Hollywood just needs to get a grip & leave this 'live action' stuff alone. It cannot or never will be able to duplicate the original intent of an originally tacky cartoon. :)
