just had to honor Mom by...

posting that a fond memory is sunday mornings into the afternoon while Mom tackled, in pen, the Sunday NYT crossword puzzles and double-crostic, both. Today, she has alzheimers, and can not articulate, except using nonsense words...yet, she can still read "knock wood", although I'm not sure of her comprehension level. Certainly, her retention level is minimal.
