"Stay"

More puzzling than the plot of this post-"Sixth Sense" supernatural thriller is what's wrong with Ewan McGregor's pants.

The letters thread is now closed.

Stay

Thanks reviewer for mentioning the dead dog. I don't know how the dog died

in this film, but I now avoid any film in which an animal gets killed or maimed

just to build suspense. "Look at that. He strangled a cat. He must be evil."

No, I am not an animal rights zealot. But there is a trend in Hollywood of killing

animals. While this happens notably in thrillers, it seems many directors of

comedies seem to think that injured of maimed animals are hilarious. I don't

believe in censorship, so I won't stay stop it. But I won't pay my money to support

that kind of unnecessary ugliness.

I saw this movie...

when it was called "Jacob's Ladder."

Go rent "Jacob's Ladder." It's an amazing, devestating movie.

ouch

Jesus Christ, Andrew. Did your dog die this week or something? These movies can't possibly both be this bad.
