The bottom of the barrel has been reached

I AM fatigued...by the endless comic-book crapola being dished out by Hollywood. I am sick to death of these regurgitated thrice-told tales from the 40s, 50s & 60s. I truly believe, (with a few notable exceptions, of course), that the entire industry has run out of really original ideas. Great movies are a thing of the past, and Hollywood, in its never-ending quest for big bucks, has whored itself out to the point that no self-respecting pimp would keep them in the stable. It isn't just the "Stan Lee Syndrome", either. Every genre has been infected with this disease. How many more incarnations of Jason are we to endure? I can't wait for the Batman sequel featuring Anthony Hopkins as a geriatric caped crusader gumming his prunes, while Alfred, now turned male nurse, gets Batman a fresh diaper. I am through spending money on this garbage.
