Pride and pathetic

It's heartwarming! It's romantic! Poor Jane Austen must be rolling in her grave over the new film of her great novel.

I loathe romantic comedy and adore Jane Austin

A and E presented a very nice adaptation of Pride and Predjudice in the 90's. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth were perfectly cast. But I guess it was not sexy enough for Hollywood. I have a theory that it is men who are really the ones who go for the overtly romantic shmaltz not women. This movie may go far in promoting this hypothesis.
