Alexander Skarsgard is the reason I watch "True Blood". When he's in a scene he commands your attention - too bad we've only gotten very little of him throughout the season, I guess it wouldn't be fair to the other characters.... Oh and Twilighters? - want to see a "real" vampire? Watch this "devastatingly beautiful" vamp on "True Blood". He's 1000 years old. Meow.
yes
Alex is cute - but sorry Stephen Moyer who plays (Vampire) Bill Compton is the hands down win the sexiest man catagory.
With those long, long, impossibly long legs...mmmmmmmm.
And he was great in Generation Kill; I didn't even realize he was Swedish.
It's odd and ironic that after admitting to being attracted to SkarsgÄrd partially because they find him arrogant, Salon says it wishes it would have deigned to go after geeks like Seth Meyers (or Michael Cera or Ezra Koenig) in school.
The pieces were almost definitely written by two different authors, but the juxtaposition is still funny and telling. And don't get me wrong, men do the exact same thing.
Alexander Skarsgard has given the best acting performance I have seen this year on the HBO series Generation Kill. I am thoroughly looking forward to seeing his future work. If he doesn't receive an Emmy nomination for his GK role it will be proof that there is something seriously wrong at the ATAS.
Arrogance? Let's not confuse the actor with the character on the show. Interviews may not be the best foundation for an assessment, but by all accounts he is far from it. Perhaps this is why people are starting to take notice. True Blood does not provide enough screen time, but check him out in Generation Kill (if you haven't already), and you will see what all the fuss is about. Poor guy won't be able to go anywhere after Season Two of TB!
