    Petty envy blinds

Dear Ladies, petty envy blinds you. The Paris Hilton phenomenon is the cretaion of the media which you represent. In reality not Paris Hilton but you, the media should "show mercy on us all" and let all numerous Paris Hiltons go away. But the crumbs left from her and other celebrities' tables feed you very nicely. So you, the media, won't kill geese that lay golden eggs for you. Not only the Paris Hilton phenomenon but the hysterical public reaction to her release from jail puts the Americans not in a very favourable light. Paris, like her or not, appears to be a reincarnation of a Salem witch being condemned by the same law-abiding citisens who before that didn't hesitate to buy dubious potions of her making.
