Letters to the Editor

Our third annual award to the most underappreciated show in all of TV land.
  • Well said, Mr. Lauerman

As Foghorn Leghorn once said, "Shut my mouth and call me mumbles." Well rebutted, KL. That's what I get for throwing out a baseless assumption, and I am genuinely embarrassed. Certainly no one could blame you for being angry at the Emmy wingnuts. Apparently all it takes to get a nomination these days is fourteen seconds of screen time (congratulations anyway, Ms Burstyn). Judging from the general tone of the letters I've read, though, I would say something in your Top 10 List really did get lost in translation.

On an unrelated note, I do believe there is a bias at Salon, whether consciously or not. That was displaced frustration on my part, and is another letter for another time.

I promise you this: I will watch "Battlestar" in its entirety this season. I've already started to catch up on the back story online so I won't be at a complete loss. I owe it to myself to make the commitment.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a tasty dish of crow in front of me that needs some choking down.

    Requitedly yours,

    AT
