Can you say Miranda?
Are none of the suspects on The Closer familiar with their Miranda rights? They all just sit there, unaccompanied by counsel, jabbering on and digging themselves ever deeper. Under those circumstances, Zippy the Chimp could wring out a confession.
And puh-freaking-LEEZE with that "Southern" accent! She sounds like she's auditioning for the lead in the Rotary Club production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
I watched this show for the first time on the recommendation of a friend, and for the second time just to make sure it was as bad as I thought, and that I hadn't just seen a bad episode. But my hunch was confirmed! Wow, maybe I should be a detective!
