Regarding your note on how sanitized all the star behavior was, I can tell you firsthand that is because they were kicking anyone who might act the least bit entertainingly out of the parties, and those people did not get Oscar tickets. It makes me long for the days when a crazy star was a source of much amusement. These days you don't have to wonder what they'll do next...you already know it will be some yawnworthy combination of patting each other on the back, ass kissing, and politically correct remarks. Bleah. Next year, I hope someone throws a party with Anna Nicole Smith, Gary Busey, Faye Dunaway, Sean Young, Kirstie Alley and everybody else whose personality hasn't been scared out of them by their publicist -- and I hope I get an invite to that one.
