    The 3 D's...

    ...Don (Knotts), Darren (McGavin) and Dennis (Weaver) all should have been mentioned as their deaths happened several days ago and the makers of the memorial reel should have had enough time to edit them in. However, in the case of Jack "Oliver" Wild it was probably too late to make the cut. I was SO LOOKING FORWARD TO the scene in which McGavin, as the Old Man in "Christmas Story," looks lovingly on that leg lamp...

    The cutoff date has to be something other than 12/31/05 since Sean Penn was mentioned and he died this year.

    And yes, Lauren Bacall's bit was difficult but I think the all time award for dissing a Hollywood legend has to be Bette Davis' final Oscar appearance...to painful to even think about.
