The Fix

Disney allows gay fairy-tale weddings. The argument for reality TV. Plus: $5,750 for Tony Soprano's bloody shirt.

The letters thread is now closed.

2 people I don't need to hear about again

Lohan and Princess Di.

Cool.

Now gays can be just as tacky as the straights who shell out for this over the top, white trash wedding.

Disney's come a long way...

I remember when they were being sued by a gay couple because they were prevented from dancing together at Disneyland. Maybe they need a new revenue stream?

Please Bring Back the Fix

I really miss it. Have the editors simply gone on holiday, or is it down for good? The Fix was one of my favourite features of Salon-- a wonderful guilty pleasure.

The Fix "hiatus"

I wrote to Salon last week grousing about the Premium newsletter links to The Fix being wrong and got a reply that it was temporarily on hiatus but no reason given for keeping the link in the newsletter. If it weren't for the music downloads, I'd dump my subscription

I'll chime in, too - Where's The Fix?

I too have been concerned by the lack of information on the status of The Fix! "On hiatus" is so ominous, and reminds me of that phrase being code in TV land for "cancelled." Although I'm comforted that the actual definition would seem to indicate it will return: "A gap or interruption in space, time, or continuity; a break."
