  • Go to hell, Couric

I can think of about, oh, five percent of the nation's population that would disagree. Next time, say "a leave of absence" or "vacation".

    Hmm?

Why yes, I am aware I'm releasing black blips into the electric void.

  • Katie's Unemployment

Ms. Couric should have said, "Unemployment, after having been paid millions of dollars with the prospect of another job that will pay more millions of dollars in the immediate future, is highly underrated."

I think most Americans who have gone through any lengthy unemployment will disagree with Ms. Couric's sentiments as stated.

  • Or...

...you could have a sense of humor about it.

  • Where did you get that NPR letter?

What was your source for that NPR letter? That is almost too much frankly. Also, so long Starry. We'd be lying if we were saying we'd miss you.

  • I sort of feel sorry for her but not that much

With her divorce from Beatle Sir Paul McCartney still pending, Heather Mills McCartney says she's afraid for her very life. "John Lennon was shot and George Harrison was stabbed and loads of kids are kidnapped," she told British tabloids recently. "People are pursuing me round the country."

Oh I see, poor Heather is afraid for her life, but Sir Paul can go eat worms and die.

She should stop watching those animal torture videos every night. I think she's turning into an actual trauma junkie.

She needs serious help. More than just a good lawyer.

I knew that when she made disparaging remarks about Beatles music during interviews with entertainment journalists.

There's no law that says people have to love the Beatles.

But if you're really in love with a man, why would you be so eager to refute the idea that he's a genius by comparing him unfavorably to Bon Jovi?

That's like marrying Mozart and telling journalists right in front of his face that John Tesh is the best composer in history.

Some people might interpret such comments as a form of emotional abuse.

  • Katie Couric:

    Shut up and go away!
