Sean Bean

Sean Bean will actually be playing the titular character, Richard Sharpe, rather than Napoleon in the BBC series airing this weekend.

Thank you for the correction

I was wondering -- isn't he a little tall to play Napoleon?

I think the job he did as Boromir was beyond superb. He showed what it meant to be human. That's no mean feat in a story about hobbits and elves.

checking facts...

Turn On:

On Saturday, Sean Bean ("Lord of the Rings") conquers BBC America as Napoleon in the series debut of "Sharpe" (9 p.m. EDT),

you might want to check your facts on this -- Sean Bean in fact portrays the TITLE role of Sharpe (aka Richard Sharpe) in the series - NOT Napoleon

Leto not gay

The Leto link now has an update that reads

After this interview was published, Jared Leto contacted us to say that he was, in fact, not gay, and that his "coming out" should not be taken seriously. What a tease.
