  • chair not couch

letterman has chairs, not a couch. stern will be on the chair tonight.

  • George Clooney

Is right on the money. Hell, I didn't have access to a single official briefing or any of the intelligence material that senators and congress had, and yet everything I did know and was saying back then has played out exactly as I, and dozens of my friends, said it would years ago.

The disgusting thing is, the Democrats are STILL playing the Bushie's games. They are STILL letting them play the tune while the Democrats dance to it. God help me, I don't know why, but they need to grab hold of the baton and take control of the tune, and they just won't do it.

    Amazing.

  • Clooney

George Clooney, an admirable guy in many ways, is quickly crossing the line between professionally bringing attention to important issues in a statesman like manner to becoming a social nuisance and cartoon of the Cindy Sheehan sort.

  • michael douglas

is officially creepy. to act as if Angelina and Brad's kids are props pisses me off. This guy left his wife and cranked out more Douglases with a woman half his age. And The Jolie-Pitt kids may have been orphans at one time but they have a family now.

  • Actual Orphans

He was talking about the actual orphans, not her adopted children. Remember the pics of them in Africa visiting villages and holding orphans? That's what Douglas is talking about.

  • Ecuse me, kim...

...but could you please clarify exactly what you mean by

" a social nuisance and cartoon of the Cindy Sheehan sort"?

Do you mean to say that loudly and repeatedly making points that badly needed to be made -- and, fortunately, thereby helping to break through the self-censorship of a corporatocracy-controlled "Main Stream Media" that apparently feels it is not their place to inform us when political leaders are lying through their teeth -- makes one a "nuisance" and a "cartoon"? (Especially when partly as a result of those points' having been made, the polling of said politicians has dropped precipitately.)

Or is it perhaps that you mean that loudly and repeatedly making points that YOU DISAGREE WITH is sufficient to earn that label? Little hlep here, please?

And while we're at it - I used to LOVE Saturday mornings; what's so wrong with cartoons, anyway?
