Crack Down
I agree with the RIAA, here. It's theft, and the RIAA has to act serious if anybody will ever take them seriously. Woe-is-me college students, having trouble paying tuition after facing the consequences of stealing intellectual property. Let's not make them the victims here. It's not 1998 anymore. They should be smarter than that.
As far as new business models go, no business model can compete when there is a FREE alternative for the exact same product (sound quality not withstanding).
