Very nice

The scond one (gramaphone and bubble letters) is very well done. I agree with Mike that it's the most Salon-esque of the bunch. However as a die hard Who fan I can't resist James Westbrooks'!

the worst yet

I can't say that I've loved any of the choices thus far, but the gramophone/bubble letters thing is the worst yet; it's impossible to read it, or even to recognize that it's supposed to be readable, without a lot of effort.

More Fodder!

Seriously though - these look great. I'd say the one most in keeping with Salon style is the second (Grammaphone and audiofile letters).

Nice stuff.
