Yes, they should

There is a reason why the two sides not are enthusiastic about a do-over. Hillary like a football coach doesn't want to take what she considers to be two wins off the table and Obama doesnt want to run in two primaries one of them Florida, which is closed and prohibits crossover and independent voting. A do-over is inevitable because those political super delegates will want to know the way the wind is blowing before voting and because the citizens of those two states deserve to have their votes counted. Its not their fault the party leaders in those states are idiots. After its completed Obama will still probrably lead in pledged delegates and be short of the magic number needed to win the nomination and Hillary will be behind in pleged delegates but most likely have surpassed Obama in popular votes. Unless someone can convince the two sides to combine, which is unlikely, the contest will split the party. The super delegates will just have to earn their status and endure the wrath of the side they don't choose. The best part is they have to make their choice in public so expect a lot of people to be putting bags on their heads. If that doesn't get the Democarts to scrap the undemocratic super delegate system and those hybrid caucus-primary states nothing will.

Its just the way it is

None of this is new. The Starr report went out of its way to detail Hillary Clinton whereabouts during Bill and Monica's encounters so the idea that this info is someting new is ridiculous. Its just repackaging a salacious story. That being said, sympathy for Hillary no. Hillary Clinton knew the GOP was going to play the Monica card when she decided run. What else does the GOP have to run on - not much?

No justice

Can't work up any pity for the three of them Obama, Clinton or McCain. They voted for the Patriot Act, that gives the government all that power to spy on American citizens without a warrant. They have stood by while the Bush Administration has farmed out millions of functions of the government to private contractors with no concerns about security and privacy standards for citizens. The prominent person section of the Patriot Act that nailed Eliot Spitzer and allows the government to go through the bank accounts of any public official to look for patterns on mere suspicion is the most chilling thing I've ever heard of. It’s an open invitation for abuse but do you hear either of the 3 candidates addressing it. And if they won’t address it what chance does we ordinary citizens have. You have to wonder what other little noticed provisions are in the Patriot Act. Whatever fears of terrorism we had - the solution is worse than what any of us bargained for. You know civil liberties are in the toilet when you think Ron Paul, a man many believe to be a racist crank. is better on civil liberties than the alleged Democratic or Republican nominee. The three can demand an investigation all they want but guess what? Contractors aren't government employees and they don't have to cooperate. Its the system they voted for.

Anti Momentum

I realize that the Supreme Court has ruled money is free speech but there is nothing stopping the Democrats from forcing mandatory spending limits on their candidates during the primaries. That way every candidate starts out on an equal footing and it opens the process up to people who don't have a lot of money. It actually would generate more money for the media as more people could compete. Nothing would prevent a candidate who could raise a lot of money from raising as much as they wanted during the general election and they could bank whatever they raised. The party must address those open primaries and do something about people changing their registration just to influence the vote as they are doing in Pennsylvania. Its crazy to allow the opposing party to choose your nominee. Finally, the caucus system is a cattle call that serves no purpose. Its undemocratic and can be manipulated by a small number of people. Its time for small states to go to a vote by mail system. For states that insist on keeping the caucus system they should get less delegates because the system excludes so many people.

The Tonya Harding option

Well I doubt that but she would try the Tonya Harding option but she or Obama could certainly do the Lieberman option, the Nightmare scenario for both parties. I write that just to move the subject along because the media has nothing new to say and I'm tired of reading the same old drivel.

OK

This young woman seems to be a happy, well adjusted, normal individual. Fantastic. Can't we accept the fact that she supports her father and let it go? No she is not Chelsea Clinton and thank God. I wouldn't wish the childhood that Chelsea Clinton had on my worst enemy. So many people root for her because they realize how hellish her life was made by the media and are amazed she survived. Finally, could we please stop talking about the looks of the daughters of candidates. No one ever talks about the looks of a candidates son.
