Original article: Leave Bill Clinton alone!

Only one thing pleases the obamabots ...

and that is crapping on the Clintons. Threy don't care if Obama stops the war, endorses FISA,enacts the death penalty to levels heretofore unknown, continues prisons abroad or reverses himself on his reversals.

There will only be one person to blame for Obama's failures - the Clintons.

If the Clintons are enthusiastic - they're fake and manipulative , if they stay in the in the background they're reticent. If they compare Obama to one of Bill's good buds, they're racist. If they try to help they should just butt out they're hurting his chances, but if they don't, they're the selfish bastards we knew they were all along.

Obama doesn't have to do anything but glow, to win support . Obviously he doesn't have to actually take a hard stand on anything. So while he glows , everyone oe else must rush around to the catcalls of Obama supporters, who can't avoid being irritated that he even has to run for president instead of just being awarded the position.

Who are all these other people on earth getting in between him and the camera , anyway.?

If you want to vote repug at least vote for a REAL one

His compromises have not been compromises because truth be told, progressives got NOTHING .

No Universal healthcare, no end to govn'mt surveillence, no end to NAFTA, no end to billions in contracts to telecoms, no end to billions to Isreal , no end to government financed religious outreach, no end to NCLB, no end to billions to agribusiness, no end to vouchers and probable changes to reproductive rights. And reiteration of a stronger death penalty. Withdrawl from Iraq will require further "assessment". In light of his about face on FISA, don't hold your breath..

Compromise suggests that both sides get something. All we've got is a historical "first". Condi Rice could have provided us with two historical "firsts" at once & essentially the same platform ..

Oh yeah, Obamabots, that venom you spewed on your grammas, moms & aunts in your spree, to get fully hopebesotted - hope you enjoy your boytoy.

You may find out that payback's a bitch.

Wake -up!

Actions have consequences. Perhaps you imagine the fruit of your attraction to this man will be happiness. If you think that, look at your best frend and what she will be feeling when she finds out she has been betrayed by her childrens father and her best friend.-being shattered is your future with this man if you persist.

You could be anyone for this man - he is in love with the idea of himself as a lover.Too bad he is not in love with the idea of himself as a father and true partner.

And you ,what idea of yourself are you in love with? Being irrestible.? Remember it is not you personally that attracts this man , it is his own vanity- and don't forget it.

Go away - let your friends life take its course.Write her and maybe see her in a year or two when her life will have gone in a more definite direction.Do anything to save yourself from becoming the predator you have taken the first steps towards becoming....work 12 hour days, hike across the Sierra Madre, see a shrink 3 times a week , throw yourself into a different choice. You have a chance to affect all of your lives for the better .

Be in love with that person of courage and integrity more than you care for this man of cowardice and neurosis . Dedicate yourself to her. Someday you will be proud of her.

Psychotic jealousy?

I think you are jealous of your "best friend". She has children, some kind of relationship with the father, and marriage in the near future.Perhaps it just eats you up that you have none of those things and you think somehow you can become her , a person with a life, by screwing her fiance.

You could care less about this guy - you just want to destroy someone who is on the verge of what ,from her veiwpoint , may be happiness....that you don't have.

Let me guess , you borrow her clothes, use her phrases, parrot her opinions, and all the while she's thinking you're her friend because you have similiar taste , without realizing you're a VAMPIRE.

Please don't take Cary's advice - leave your victim alone and go learn how to create your own blood cells.

What does it take to tear someone away from their tv set?

One of the editors picks wrote:

"The takin' it to the streets 60s kind of street protest is an outmoded tactic that likely calls to mind negative stereotypes among people who'd been alive to experience them the first time around, and likely evokes a questionable response in younger generations"

Oh really? Seems to work in France.

Take up the practice of attention

Like anything else attention can be trained- this is called meditation. By watching our attention we can gradually learn to befriend it. The masters describe it like taming a wild horse .Something that seems indomitable and out of control, can become your helpful companion. It takes some investement in time initially , but you probably waste that much time looking for your keys and glasses anyway.

Try a meditation course which begins with following your breath, since you are already so spacey.. After a while of practicing 20- 30 minutes daily you can also set your watch a few times a day and notice the details of how you feel right then and there and whats happening in your enviroment at that moment.

It will become a habit to root you in the NOW.

The other thing is, being such a head person , you may be ungrounded.Try some kind of slower physical practice like yoga, tai chi, martial arts or the Alexnder technique to connect your head to the neck, the neck to the shoulders, the shoulders to the arms and the arms to the hand that is holding those glasses.

You'd also be surprised how accupuncture or shiatsu can help with what seems like a "mind thing "- it's actually an imbalance in energy.

More importantly SLOW DOWN -
