"This is not the first lie I've caught my husband in "

You have lost your equanamity and are on the verge of losing your mind. Your husband is untrustworthy per your words above.

To continue with this man who is a liar is setting yourself up for a future in which such insanity is your life. Is this what you want for you and your children? If so, continue with your husband.

If not , better that you two separate and go your own way.The fact that your husband is familiar enough with this woman to "cover for each other" means he has some kind of deeper attachment than just an internet connection.

And if hiring a private detective makes you feel better , go ahead... it may be effective in the sense that you will be

taking ACTION on your own behalf. There is nothing like being stuck in the dark to drive one crazy. The imagination can go wild.

Think about your situation in terms of nutrition

You can eat to live or live to eat.

If you live to eat, life means one thing to you - what can I eat next.? Quality of the food is not that important . You may end up weighing 400 pounds and go through cycles of dieting and binging , but your thoughts still revolves around food and when you can get more.

If you eat to live , food will be one of several important things in your life. And you will chose food that enhances your nutritonal intake so that you feel energized and at your optimal health at whatever you are engaging in,so that you can give it your all.Nutrition is a tool to your goals but it is not THE goal.

Your life contains so much more than men. You may have gotten off track as you you feel the culture mores begin closing in on you. You don't need to purge or binge on men . You need to appreciate yourself and all the interests you bring to life.Widen your vision a little and relax and enjoy yourself as you are.

If Obama really wanted to solidify the Dem party

Wouldn't it be wiser to honor the people who voted him in, by throwing them a few bones? Instead Obama has failed to deliver on any front and his collusion with the Med -Industrial complex behind closed doors and betrayal of the public option has been the final heartbreaker.

Instead it seems Obama wants to create the new Repblican party, disciplined in order to guarantee a money pipeline from corporations, and push the present repugs into the John Bircher party. He has succeeded at the latter.

Voters and citizens get to sit on the sidelines and watch the two parties fight each other for corporate cash as our jobs, homes, educational system ,enviroment and childrens futures dissolve like so much vapor before our eyes.

I'm considering sitting out the next election(after regularly voting for 37 years) as it seems no matter who you vote for, you get the same result.

your choices here

Set your apartment on fire and let everything burn, including your arm

Say the apartment flooded and you had to throw out a lot of stuff ( only works if they were on the floor) Make sure your most precious items must be dumped too

You have violated your GF and should not be living with her,as you have no idea where you end and she begins. This puts her in danger. Make sure when you leave, never to accept a key to her place.

Disappear and leave no forwarding address

Then get your own life .

This system runs on envy

It sounds like you are doing everything you can to have it all , but the truth is the system is structured to make you want more, more, more.

Cary hit on a strange truth here. Our satisfaction cannot come from outer attainment, you are starving for true happiness while in the midst of plenty.Watch the first part of Fight Club , where the main character has everything but it means nothing. It is the path we have been sold- that these things will make us happy, but really the only happiness it can bring is that we will feel good because others envy us.

Don't fall for it.

Make up a few blessings that you can repeat whenever you feel envy arise- learn to say silently toward the other "May you be blessed and happy in your new car, may your trips be safe", "May you enjoy good health in your great shirt."

" May your new home offer you many happy occasions."

By directing your thoughts toward positive wishes towards those you envy you will find your attitude shift and lighten.

Original article: How do I become an adult?

Everything you do is how you do everything

In other words, if you show up to work and give it only 30%, you are training yourself in half assedness and soon thats what you'll direct toward your lunch , your family, your walk to work and your special passion. You need to practice presence every day and every minute in your very own life that is rapidly propelling you toward death. How will you even recognize the time to act when you are used to sleepwalking?

Even if you are not in your ideal job ,it is important that you practice alertness, awareness and curiosity throughout the day just so that you can appreciate the life all around you. Don't save yourself for "someday"Live now. These traits will get you through anything and if you hone them they will deliver you at the doorstep of your very own life.

The question is not how to become an adult, but how to become yourself.

Ensure government healthcare but not for abortion

then start a private fund that assists people who request themto obtain them.

I fear the use of government funds for abortion as they sterilized thousands of native American, Puerto Rican and African American women. Since the U.S has always been eager to participate in eugenics programs and because racism is so endemic to out country I think abortions should have nothing to do with the government.

This will also decrease accusations against the goverment about population control policies. It needs to be left in the hands of private agencies.
