timbucktom

Most credit card companies cash those checks at the rate of giving cash( 21% and up)- a far higher rate than their rate for purchasing goods , which is much higher than most student loans.

Paying them off off slowly only rewards credit card companies.

Why do so many assume the LW is a son?

I immediately assumed it was a daughter writing, because its such a typical female story of working hard, only to be unappreciated by the family and "taking care" of the parents( it seems like men don't notice or care less)or aren't used by the family in such blatant ways.

I reread the letter and could find no mention of gender.

It doesn;t really matter , .... does it?

Take domestic violence out of the closet

let women see that it is not because they are poor , too mouthy or not pretty enough. Let them see that it happens across the spectrum of female life and that it is something serious enough to threaten your life and health and that a dreamboat guy does not guarantee a dream relatonship.

This can be a warning for all the women who put up with a little shove now and then - when you're pregnant it gets worse.! Statistics prove it. Don't or expose your children to domestic violence -it can turn them into assaulters too.

This is an indictment of Chris Brown and other domestic assaulters, not Rhianna.

Original article: Damaged goods

other reasons a first date might exit the table quickly

You have a child and a custody battle

The details of your messy divorce are all u can talk about

Your recently and jealous ex is a

Sheriff,

Republican or

gun instructor

You have 9 cats and 6 dogs

You're a county prosecuter

You're being treated for an STD

but you'll be off the meds in 4 days

You start your sentences with "my therapist..."

You're being hounded by debtors

and have to park yr car blocks from yr home

and sneak in the back door.

You complain about your acid flashbacks &

Swat at bugs crawling on you

It takes more than 3 minutes to explain

to the waitress exactly what you want and then

You send your food back .

90% of Abhu Gharaib detainees as well as Guantanamo detainees

were picked up in sweeps. Thats a high rate of collateral damage. A high rate of them were turned in to American military officials for rewards,or to take care of of personal or tribal vendettas.

Now to pick up the wrong person for a couple of days is bad, but it's outrageous when people are imprisoned for years and includes subhuman living conditions and no hope of a hearing. Abu graib made the dog pound at Guantanamo look like the Hilton. I can only imagine the other black holes. Aside from the human rights violations ,trying to extract thru brutality from someone who doesn't have any is guaranteed to deliver wrong information which can confound the mission.

We are creating jihadis on a daily basis.

The families of these people are subjected to the terror of "not knowing" as well as lack of resources and protection they depended on to survive. In a tribal society the damage we have done to ourselves thru nurturing hatred is exponential.

If these people can see we are holding our leadership responsible for these illegal acts ,

it's likely they won't find it necessary to destroy the real empire of evil .

quit focusing on delivering truth

and instead focus on what the other person is trying to get across, even if it's not right.

You can't understand what someone else is trying to say just by "letting" them talk. Notice what they are doing with their hands , their posture, their tone , their hesitations.and what these things tell you as well.

You may just have too much energy and need a physical regimen to channel some of it.

Decrease your use of caffeine as it tends to speed up our urgency.

Every hour assign yourself 5 minutes to focus on the world around you- slowly it will come to you that you are not the star , just a bit player ,

And there's something really freeing about that.

So he trusts a talk radio host more than you

You,the person he is sharing his most intimate moments with? Maybe they were intimate for you ,but he was wiling to pleasure himself with your body while refusing to get to truly get to know and build trust in your relationship, being too occupied with where he left the hotsauce and should it be jalapano or habanero.

Not a good portent for the future.

Very likely this is just the tip of the oddness iceberg. Who knows what other weird practices he's hiding- the fact that it involves the two of you instead of some handwashing hangup makes it scarier. In what other ways will he need protect himself against the person he "says" he cares for?

Don't marry him and especially don't breed with him - there's enough freaks out there already.

1.) Brightstar 2.Spicy sperm

BS- Considering a prior post of yours,I find it interesting that you think women who have abortions are unforgivable sluts, no matter how the pregnancy happens(Rape,b.c.failure, change in life circumstances, pinholes in the condom placed their by her partner) but a man who sleeps repeatedly with someone he doesn't trust is understandable. After all,men NEED TO HAVE SEX but women need to be responsible for triple protection or pay the price and so does the child.

On a different note , many Mexicans and Indians must have the equivelant of a bottle of Tabasco in their blood, yet I haven't noticed hampered fertility rates. In fact it seems they LOVE the stuff.

And couldn't this guy be charged with torture of a real human being under new christian sharia laws being written?
