Isreali soldiers speak out - Breaking the silence .
Learn that we are being manipulated by the media and share the message. Perhaps you think you would have tried to stop native American genocide but were born too late. Now is your chance to break the paralyzing silence that condemns Palestinians to life on a reservation as trapped targets

you don't have to go to a Cineplex to see it.
we're expected to shed MORE tears over the Holocaust while more han 400 Palestinian children have just been wiped out by Israell?
Basta ya -is there no end to their media propaganda blitz ?
In case the DOJ backs down can you please work with Bob Fertick( of the change.org #1 question) concerning prosecution of the Bush officials. How do we go about pressuring the new administration to proceed ? Can you please make contact ? Is torture the best offense to go after? ( there are so many)
Your persistence and precision are awesome!
Not only was the concert a heartopening experience - it sends a message to the world, as well as to Americans -
" It is not over for America - we got it goin' on"
It s a whole stimulus package and is a peaceful display of American
confidence in itself , in the best sense of the word.
It was good medicine.
as long as they replace Rick Warren with Bishop Robinson.
Dear LW - you have made a HUGE step just to be aware that the problem mostly stems from you .Nothing can change without that awareness - Congratulations for owning up... there are millions who refuse to consider such an idea ,which accounts for the continous state of war we seem to be stuck in.
Learn to slow down when you feel that tension building .Don't say anything. Feel your rage, anger and frustration but don't indulge yourself in the story of right and wrong.. Instead cultivate curiosity . direct your focus inside to where in your body the feeling located- your stomach, your shoulders, your jaw? Intensify the feeling by tightening the area and then release it a few times. Breath deeply into the area with attention. You may think you can't take it without blowing up - but you can, . Use your children as the inspration to stick with it.
You will find the feeling that presents itself is rarely what you think it is.Anger is a feeling of power, that we sometimes use to block other emotions..Sit with yourself mentally with an attitude of mothering towards whatever comes up.
Perhaps you can't process it then and have to wait til you can get somewhere to sit. Learn y a poem to to block obssessing over the problem til you are somewhere quieter You may have to sit with breathing into the tension for up to 40 minutes . You'll be cultivating patience with yourself and other people when you do this.
And don't be hard on yourself for failing .. Be kind . You are like a puppy being housetrained - of course you will make mistakes until you build up your holding ability.
about the real situation our country faces economically , his ongoing reference to the hardships ahead such as this" Let it be said by our children's children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end," .
I assume he knows much that we do not
I mean are we really close "to the journey's end?"
Much gratitude for a man who seems to have the wisdom of what our true history has been about and the persistence and equanimity to guide this loose vehicle to a safe landing.
I loved Obama's call out to the people who BUILT America, not just thse who financed the buildings.I'm ppretty sure "the lash of the whip "has not occurred in other inaugural speech, yet for centuries it was the power that built the nation.
I loved it Sunday when he mentioned that everything around was built by the hands of Americans. How many state houses were built by slave labor ,yet the builders were never thanked , attributed. or paid.We need plaques on every such building recognizing these people who were never compensated.
Thank You Obama- you may be one of the first presidents who has recognized us - the hands that lift the bricks, dig the foundations and do the grunt work. In todays celebrity world we have become more invisble than ever. When will politicians start listening to our hopes for the nation and schedule us into their appointment books ?
You've stated that "Listening to people complain about other people affects me so strongly that it's interfering with my work life " as well that you previously left another job because of a "toxic social enviroment."
You may be sensitive and yet you are totally unobservant. 90% of what passes for communication in America is complaining .Just look at Salon. Put in earplugs, doodle on a piece of paper or skim through a magazine during her tirades. Thank god they are not directed at you or anyone in the room.
Now and then you might ask innocently -( you are new after all) "What would be a better way Ms X? Or try and unravel the history of the company by inquiring about details and people . Think archeologist trying to piece together fragments. I'd even consider taking notes!
She is giving you valuable information about who's who and what their agenda is, even if its warped. This kind of info is a goldmine if you want stay in the company and need to strategize on how to succeed.
Now get back in there and play ball!
