Why US soldiers so fragile?

I am rather puzzled by the reactions of these US soldiers to Iraq war trauma's.

Why have we never heard such events or diseases, physical and physiological, in the World War II, where sometimes US soldiers walk for days without food in wounded condition, to a rendezvous point for example?

See BBC's World War II or Dunkirk DVD.

I also never heard of madness or stress post war in Indonesian soldiers, which were often sent to various war zones (Timor against the Communists, Aceh against the guerilla's, independence war against Dutch army, in 1967 war against Malays, etc)

Are the US youth's physiology from the start already FRAGILE, weak and prone to stress and hardships or trauma to catch madness and depression?

Is it maybe because religion, one of the pillars of the soul's wellbeing, were intact in US WW II and Asian soldiers (including Iraq militants) but are extinct in US youths now ( = atheists, or non-believers) ?

Original article: Bill Ayers talks back

AN Indonesian recollection of 1960's

I was an Indonesian high school student during the Vietnam war. Although far away, I did remember seeing photo's in the newspapers or maybe in the black-and-white TV then, about the massive demonstrations in the whole USA opposing the Vietnam war with its 1500 soldiers dead every month.

I never heard or see any photo or news about the bombings of Pentagon, until yesterday in the TV I see a clip of a long haired young Ayers,(I think, he DID look like a Che Guevara terrorist, or a drug addict hippie), and clips of burning buildings (not clear whether it was Pentagon, or Vietnam?).

well, he was a good-motivated (anti-war) activist with a wrong tactic, labelled terrorist.

But it was 40 years ago,he was old and changed now, becoming sane now from his insane years,(all his bombings futile, as it seems the demo's which end the war), short minded person, and have NO connection to today's politics or political leaders.

It is Palin now with her agitations pushing her fans to "Kill Obama!" which seems like an Extremist agitator (ending with terrorism, eg shooting Obama)

Obama's German ancestors

To Greg Neubeck

About your suspicion to a half-black candidate, this is news to you:

Read wargs@wargs.com by William Addams R.wiesner, titled Ancestry of Barack Obama,a very comprehensive genealogy of Obama's maternal ancestry dating to 1600'2 to his 12-th generation removed ancestors.

Do read the names of

= Christian Gutknecht (Goodnight) came to Philadelphia in 1749

- Maria Magdalena Grunholtz

-Leonard Berkheim

The Berkheim's and Goodnight's (Gutknecht's) are maternal Obama's ancestors,from Germany.

About the Public Allies, if Obama would be USA president, should the PA's protest against him?

Or would the "National Police Corps" from Obama arrest you or the radio commentator you mentioned?

Never, but what would very likely happen is this: "A Neubeck (or a Hollywood Grind blogger) SHOOT Obama to death"

Who is the real terrorist ?

Obama's Ohio Irish ancestry

Obama's ancestor Fulmuth Kearney of Moneygall, Ireland , third greatgrandfather from his mother's side, was buried circa 1800 in Kempton cemetery, in Ohio, and was found listed in Deerfield's official papers.

So Obama has distant cousins still living in south Ohio (white Irish men, of course).

Surprised you, or be proud of it, Ohio-ans?

See the complete family tree article in wargs@wargs.com by William Addams Reitwiesner titled "Ancestry of Barack Obama"

(till his 12th generation genealogy)
