  • Is there an editor in the house?

[Read the article: A nation of Rich Lowrys]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Can someone tell Ricky that contradicting himself is not part of a valid argument? I know he has never made a valid argument in his life, but still. And from the way he writes, I thought Reynolds was a really, really old fart. He looks young enough to go fight in Iraq. Or Iran.

  • Agreed

[Read the article: How to solve America's water problems]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I lived in Florida several times, & South Carolina. I saw amazing water waste, & those are not even deserts. You make your choices when you move, and moving to a desert means living in desert-like conditions (I am reminded of the website f**kthesouth.com).

There should no more be a nation water redistribution policy to literally bail out the desert than there should be a national policy to bail out hedge funds & large banks for really greedy stupid bets on mortgages. Oh, wait. bushie gave them bailouts.

  • Good for the coach!

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

As a born but lapsed Catholic, I say "praise be to the Coach!" Freedom is a good thing, and priestly inconsistency is a bad thing. I'll listen to those ancient right wing Bishops when they start to treat the last two Pope's commands about illegal, unholy wars and capital punishment the way they treat stem cell research and choice. And when they cynically exploit church-state relations, no one should listen to them!

  • Deluded villagers

[Read the article: A Fred Thompson flashback]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Quinn thinks of Thompson- anti-choice, anti-stem-cell, anti everything since the 16th century except for trophy wives--as moderate? Has she stolen some of Broder's drugs?

  • Great & funny piece

[Read the article: Bad Dad Gift Guide]

Too bad you couldn't give retroactive vasectomies to everyone on that list! The world would be a much better place!

  • Please take Holy Joe

[Read the article: A McCain-Lieberman ticket?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If Holy Joe thinks that McSame has not flipped flopped, then Joe is more delusional than ever. Remember McCain - Kennedy? McCain- Feingold? McSame doesn't either.

  • Congratulations Celtics!

[Read the article: Celtics demolish Lakers for title]

From out here in Chicago--where we have not had much to cheer for--it was wonderful to see a great team, and active great fans, win.

  • Tom

[Read the article: This Modern World]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

As always, perfect! He captures bush and idiot voters in just 6 panels.

  • Sarah- the real reason Tucker was so special

[Read the article: The decay of serious journalism and Rachel Maddow's new show]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

a young commentator was that his Dad was a powerful broadcast wingnut allied w/ the bushies. Talent had nothing to do with it. Although maybe if he put me on TV I would have a different opinion & agree w/ you.

  • This is priceless!

[Read the article: Confessions of an RNC security guard]

I am in w/ the old guy, not the drunk Evangelicals. The McCain I voted for in the S Carolina primary 8 years ago died 7 years ago, and we are left w/ a disaster. If McCain wins, we lose.
