There is a yin and yang to everything. Obama has been making good decisions based on the current crisis. We should applaud him for that. Bush has become the former POTUS. We will regret that.
We do have a Constitution that must be kept intact. We have one POTUS at a time. Popularity within the press should not negate that fact.
The American public is not stupid , it is aware of the problems we are facing, but if we loss the the concept that "we are a nation of laws", we can open the door to much more ominous things than allowing Bush to finish out his term.
The mere fact that the transition teams are working closely together to avoid a gap in leadership is heartening and must be respected.
I think this is this article is so dumb it deserved to preserved in the annuals of poor writing.
What is an OPEN black candidate? What is a closet black candidate? Is that a serious statement? I know your answer, its talking about black issues.
Is he up to the task? That is the issue. The people of Tokyo turned to Godzilla when all else failed.
The ONLY issue that will be problematic about Obama being black is that the expectations of the Black community at large over what he will bring to them is so bloated, moderate success will be seen as failure.
We always hope cooler heads will prevail.
Did Mr. Hannaham apprentice his trade writing on bathroom walls?
Whitefish is right on. Ellen signed a contract, she could have gone back to the shelter and told them of her decision. Her intentions were good, but her tactics were not. SHE is the cause of the grief. Don't blame the shelter, they have seen it all.
