American journalism is beginning to resemble British yellow journalism such as the Sun, a tabloid reeking with vicious attacks on anything or anyone as long as papers sell. I am particularly tired about the insistent harping on what a candidate did or said 40 yrs ago. Contrary to popular belief (for which i hold as much regard as i do for the IQ of dehydrated carrot) change is good. If someone sticks to or continues with the same behavioral antics of yesteryear that strongly suggests illiterate and boneheaded ignorance.

A good example is the use of marijuana. I have yet to meet any college student from the 60's who has not at least tried it once. And so what? I suppose that getting drunk and driving into walls is a better method of judging character?

Please wake up and stop sounding like tabloids all the time and lets have some real analysis and reporting. And please, no more 6 o'clock news presented by over coiffed cretins and their desperate attempt at witticisms.

To those of you who walk the fine line between fantasy and outright fantasy let me inform you of some little facts which..ooops... seem to have vanished from public view the moment they occurred.

Why did it take even a moron like Bush to wait 8 minutes after being informed we were being attacked? Was he stuck in the middle of a difficult sentence such as "Billy the Goat wants his mummy?. Or did he know this was going to happen and allowed it to always knowing (not knowing that's too much for him to absorb)but having been told by his murderous minions to wait then grab his bull phone and run out to play the valorous hero. (Oooops Viet Nam is over? Damm i meant to enlist today).

Why was the air force given orders to stand down? they could have had jets in the air on the terrorists ass in a matter of minutes and shot them down if necessary.

Why was the only plane allowed to fly that evening carried an arab carrier name tag (written in arabic) and whisked off the entire Bin Laden family? And how lucky was bush to find them all ready, all packed and set to go in just a couple of hours?

And where was the 700 million sent to Afghanistan diverted to Iraq before idiot officially invaded them? Smells of impeachment to me.

When the Cuban missile crisis was going on Kennedy stayed in the white house for the entire time trying to solve the problem. Our dear beer drinking and cocaine abuser was too busy flying anywhere he thought he could be safe, sniveling little coward that he is.

First it was wmd. Nope that didn't work, even though Cheney declared he knew exactly where they were.

Hussein had ties with Bin Laden. Nope, doesn't work either. They despised each other. One was a religious fanatic while the other was secular and besides, if Hussein had let Bin Laden in Iraq he would have soon lost control of the country.

Bush made us safe. Oh goody. Now all the fanatic Arabs who want our death and who had to keep running, can now safely reside in Iraq and attract all the recruits they need and train them in safety.

Even Colin Powell, a man supposedly respected for his integrity, was infected with the vile odor of Bushism by going to the UN and spreading lies, a fact which he later admitted to having known were lies.

Hussein had long aluminum cylinders meant for building nuclear bombs. Ooops sorry, they were meant for building sewers or something.

Unless im mistaken Obama taught constitutional law in Harvard. So if he has the fortitude to go after bush and his thugs, he will know what he is talking about.

My only real fear is that if he does then an "accident" is bound to happen.

I was under the mistaken impression that a university degree implied the ability to think and act rationally. If the graduates mentioned in the article are products of our schools, we might as well give the country back to the English or, better still, to the Indians.
