@rebecalouise - your son will go to Iran anyways

If Hilary gets in. She's pushing for war with Iran as much as McCain et al. She whored herself to AIPAC in her quest for power. Your best bet is Paul, Edwards or Obama if that is your concern.

Shame on you Salon

For leaving out the facts. The debate is on Fox. Obama has boycotted Fox since the spring of 2006 for good reasons. There were recent campaigns and petitions circulating in January 2008 urging Obama (and the rest of the Democratic candidates) to continue the Fox boycott. Her Royal Clinton is the first to break that boycott. Obama declined the debate because it is in Fox news.

If you are not going to report on the election in an unbiased, factual manner than fess up and endorse Clinton.

I thought this was a scandal involving the singer Seal and comments he made to the press about women of color.......

Original article: What does Hillary want?

its clear what clinton is holding out for

She wants the VP slot so, if elected, 6 months in the Clintons can put a bullet in Obama's head(or maybe poison or plane crash) and she can then fulfill her arrogant quest for power. Never trust a Clinton around power.

What's controversial about this ad?

Graves is clearly pointing out to the voters of Missouri that Barnes is a lesbian. Neither ad tells me anything about either candidate.

Its not what she said as much as how many people believe she'd do it

Having seen the clip of this interview, its clear she's referring to the primary campaign running into June. However, whats more disturbing is 2 things:

One - she really doesn't understand why people want her to drop out of the race? Is she that much of a narcissist?

Two - What does it say about Billary as a person, that so many people automatically assumed that she was making a veiled threat at her opponent?

I would not put it past the interests that she serves to attempt to take him out.

Where in the world is Joan Walsh?

Laughingstock?

Alice Walker stopped speaking to her daughter and thats headline news? Did you even listen to Kucinich's speech, or even a portion of it? I did, all of it and I know of folks in Canada and Europe that listened to it streaming on CSPAN site and took it very seriously. Whether or not impeachment is on the table, this resolution lays out the high crimes, violations of the constitution and war crimes of this adminstration in precise, factual and well supported detail in a manner that no element of the media has ever done, including and especially Salon under Joan Walsh.

You are incompetent, and going by your little videos, you look and sound like you are barely out of high school. You're editor is incompetent. Your publication is irrelevant, Glenn Greenwald is not enough. Look in the mirror before you start laughing.

Time to organize a boycott

In addition to annihiliating any Democrat who goes along with this we should organize boycotts of telecoms who cooperate.

In a 4 way race Obama currently wins

Take a look at Gallup, Zogby's Electoral college map and Real Clear Politics. In a 4 way match up with Obama, McCreepy, Barr and Nader, Obama wins. Also, he's ahead in Electoral College, I assume that's state by state polling.

What is more interesting is that the media is not reporting that. Are they trying to create the impression that McCain could win to easily spin when the Republicans steal the election again? Ohio and Florida dumped their Diebold voting machines this year and have paper ballots. But who knows what other state with a Republican governor and no audit trail will become the new 'swing' state.

How your parents vote is none of your business

and should have no bearing on your relationship to them as a son. Whether or not your siblings help out is not your business, thats between them and your parents. Support them if you want or don't.

There's a viable plan in the House that cannot get traction

House Dem's - not so called leadership - held a press conference yesterday outlining the plan. No coverage in the press that I can find. Their plan makes sense and does not involve setting up a 4th branch of government with unlimited power and putting Goldman Sachs at the helm.

Please check this out...

http://www.c-span.org/Topics/US-Economy.aspx...then go to House Democrats Press Conference on Alternative Financial Intervention Plan (September 30, 2008)

This is one alternative that we are not hearing about. Instead leadership of both parties in both houses of congress refuse to consider anything other than the Paulson plan.

She's one of the beautiful people

You know, we all work with them, especially in the corporate world. They work nine to five, 'delegate' responsibilities to the people under them, never miss a happy hour or company ski trip, pop out a kid every two years and work from home for the last 4 months of the pregnancy than take 6 months of paid maternity leave instead of the usual two(because they've earned it beng so special), take more sick days than anyone else and leave early-come in late because of their kids(even though they have a nanny). They are attractive and well groomed and well rested and very pleasant to be around, many are the life of the party. Corporate execs, especially males, love them. They allow them to indulge the fanstasy that a woman can survive and even thrive in the hellish economy they've created and still be a successful wife and mother. And on top of that be fuckable. And the rest of us, who are tired, haggard, overweight, stressed out, barely have time to brush our teeth, grieving because we had to dump a two month old infant into day care so we could dutifully go back to our 100 hour workweeks cleaning up the messes of the beautiful people - well we're not so pleasant to be around and not very fuckable and a living breathing angry depressed reminder of reality.

And btw, I'm not a feminist.
