Freedom of the Press?
[Read the article: Dan Rather stands by his story]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Horseshit is the proper expression! Bushit dominated in spite of the fact that Rathers story is true. As was reported recently, in talks with the Spanish president Bush claimed that he knew all about war and its risks. Sure as hell, as a AWOL artist who got away with it due to "ma daddies" intervention and influence, he knew all about avoiding it and its dangers to life and limb. Good for Dan Rather to expose the dealings of the Bushite mafia headed by Karl Rove. They managed to slur the reputation of a real fighter and hero like Senator Kerry and convinced the CBS "free press?" agency to go after their best reporter and fire him based on falsehoods and undue influence of the lackeys of the administration. Unfortunately these facts came out several years to late to save the country from the disaster named George W. Bush. Again congratulations Dan Rather. Facts will dominate!

Talking about phonies
[Read the article: Rush Limbaugh and the "phony soldiers"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Rush Limbaugh definitely qualifies and belongs to them, even in the top echelon. BS artist par excellence.

[Read the article: Jenna Bush is just not the Winnebago-driving type]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The four Roosevelt sons were offspring of a democratic president.

Groenhagen
[Read the article: Rush Limbaugh and the "phony soldiers"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]On another site he introduced himself as Cpl USMC a claim assumed to be false according to another posting which stated the the USDMC did not know of anyone by that name and rank. His real name could well be Rove.

Tim Grieve
[Read the article: Bill O'Reilly's double standard]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Congratulations, a staunch rightwinger claiming to be named Groenhagen just promoted you to Sissy. Keep up with your good work, it must be right if those types start to call you names.

How about Pre-Pre-Promaries?
[Read the article: Edwards to accept public funds: Taking a stand or falling down?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That would be another way for the corporate donors and their hacks to buy influence. Public funding at a set amount would cut this practice out and shorten the boring and seemingly everlasting present procedure considerably and make the candidates more independent from the undue influences of it. Afterall the presidency is supposed to by decided by election and not by purchase.

Unnecessary
[Read the article: Fred Thompson: Refreshingly honest or just uninformed?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Another Ronald Reagan in the White House? It is starting to look that way if Thompson should make it. No need for that!

Why
[Read the article: Mitt Romney's money machine]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]A campain season of almost two years? Silly and a waste of effort and money. And let the one with the most funds be the winner even if he is a deadbeat. Incredibly stupid! And they are all polititians and as we know they all lie and have obligations to the contributors to their cause, lobbyiast of business interests. People only count as far as votes are concerned ,after that to hell with them.
-
Thank you
[Read the article: Clarence Thomas casts himself in "Native Son"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]A hearty thank you to George H.W. for nominating and the Repugnican dominated Senate for confirming this apparent hypocrite to his position.

Coincidence?
[Read the article: Waxman takes a shot at Blackwater]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Blackwater has a forerunner. Hitlers private Army was dressed in black, ran the concentration camps and was responsible for the Holocaust. They were above the law and were eventually named as a criminal organisation. How long will it take for Blackwater to receive this well deserved title?

No waiting necessary
[Read the article: Reid to Limbaugh: You've got mail]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The line up of GOP Senators will be very short. Afterall Limbaugh is their primary spokesman.

Wild West
[Read the article: The dark truth about Blackwater]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This article shows that the wild west has arrived in the middle east. The biggest joke of all is how a company named International Peace Operations does in fact create warlike conditions through its contracts. What would the American publics reaction be if, heaven forbid, foreign civilian miltary contractors would act here in the manner described be the author of this devastating evaluation of US actions in Iraq. It clearly shows the inability of the Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld gang in conducting an illegal war, worse than any terrorist gang could ever dream. The American taxpayer is forced to finance the profits of the Prince's of Blackwater, as well of those of Haliburton and their likes, the ordinary Joe Q. Taxpayer to be sure, not the beneficiaries of the Bush type taxcuts for the wealthy. Is that what the American freedom is all about?

Addendum
[Read the article: The dark truth about Blackwater]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Reading the postings after my own, there is a ghastly coincidence between the Bush sponsotred private contractors and the private armies of certain dictators of the 1930s. They were then called Stormtroopers and blachshirts. What happens if they are going to be used to prop up the Bushits?

What ould Jesus say?
[Read the article: Quote of the Day No. 2]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The likes of Prince and other "Chistian" promoters would surely have been in the crowd kicked out of the temple. And even before Christ didn't the commandments say "thou shall not kill". But than the Princes dont kill themselves they only profit from others who do it for them. True Christian spirit! Amen.

Great Article
[Read the article: My favorite pornography]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Built a house once myself for my family, same number of rooms, lived a happy life and could relax. Unfortunately my kids now in their fourtys and fiftys dont have the time to enjoy life the same way. But there was peace and the life was easier. The chase after the buck was not as wild and happiness was more important. Thank you Garrison for reminding me.
