He is wrong. Americans deserve better!

  • And the crowd loved him

[Read the article: Better to be Hamlet than President George]

So much so, that his watch was taken of his arm while the gypsies stuffed his pockets with money.

    Thats it

  • A question to be blunt

[Read the article: Clinton wins the Spielberg primary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Isn't donor fatigue equal to discontent? All those millionaires who profited from Bushis generosity (at the cost of the common taxpayer) are tired to give to a lost cause?

  • Remember?

[Read the article: Bush's European disaster]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It still hear good ole Georgyboy when he stated that he would close all the ports of Afghanistan, and that was in 2001. His ignorance has not changed since then. And for those who think that he was elected in 2001, remember that Al Gore had a majority of votes, while Busch had a majority in the "Supreme?" court.

  • Mission Accomplished

[Read the article: Reporting for duty, sir]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I really am the village idiot.

  • An A for effort?

[Read the article: Bartlett on Bush: An "A" for effort]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It should rather be an I for idiocy.

  • Good Riddence.

[Read the article: Pace: I was forced out]

    and a good night.

  • Add one more

[Read the article: My hapless African rebel]

Pretty crummy story, have to agree with the other posts.

  • Romney

[Read the article: Maybe they saw the president on the front lines]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I thought we already have a Mormon president, sorry 1 Emm to many!

  • Ambassador Crocker

[Read the article: We're No. 2!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The name says it already, what a pile of crock. Whatnybody expect from a Bushy?

  • Sorry,

[Read the article: We're No. 2!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Second sentence should read :What did anybody expect from a Bushy?

  • mizbinkley

[Read the article: Maybe they saw the president on the front lines]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I did my service, my kids are past military age( 3 girls by the way) and my grandchildren are too young. I did not start a war of aggression nor am I in favor of such an idiotic enterprise. I am wondering though, why all those warmongers and supporters evaded frontline or any other service. They are the ones whose children should go and fight. It is easy to shout support our troops, but when it comes to even attend the funeral of one who paid with his life their stance is identical to their service avoidance. Right Mr. Bush and/or Cheney?

  • Who was he talking to?

[Read the article: Stop us if you've heard this one before]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Bush was impressed ,question is was it Olmert or Maliki who did the impressing. Progress in losing money in corrupt practices or oil profits going to insurgents or attacks concentrating more on US miltary personnel? OK already, we are winning.

  • Bill Richardson

[Read the article: What the Democrats would do about Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

His solution is the best. Get out now. 3500 dead American servicemen and women are more than enough, not even counting the dead amongst the contractors and US civilians serving there. Waiting for an Iraqi "government" without real authority to create proper conditions is an illusion. All they are interested in is stirring up more trouble and sustain the corruption that made a few billion Dollars disappear.

  • Typical

[Read the article: The president vs. the law]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This pseudo dictator or absolute ruler or King George the Turd already made a mockery of the constitution. What else do you expect? Time to get rid of him and his gang before he decides to stay on permanently. 70 % of the people despise him even some repugnicans are finally feeing the light..When do the rest wake up?

  • What was expected?

[Read the article: What Ted Stevens, Bolivian cocaine and Halliburton have in common]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ted Stevens is just another crooked repugnican friend of king George the Turd.

  • Cheney

[Read the article: How Cheney keeps his secrets]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

He is the real power behind Dumbya. He should face a trial and probably would spend ( and should) the rest of his life in jail.

  • Bullcrap

[Read the article: "The wrong metric"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The living standard of Iraqis has been destroyed by the illegal invasion of their country by the Bushits and their oil interests. As a result the large majority wants the US troops out, preferably yesterday. Metric my FOOT, which incidentally would be the proper way to measure in the US. Afterall the pentagon in concert with the White House messed up. Remember Rumsfailed? He was evidently Pace's great promoter. All those idiots forgot the great idea of the Viet Nam years:"make love not war".

  • Innocense

[Read the article: "Is our children learning?"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Remember Bush saying after 9/11 and referring to Afghanistan: We will close their roads, railroads and PORTS ? That was not really innocense but plain old stupidity; and that from a Harvard graduate. He sure as hell did not know where that country was on the map. And he deems himself the leader of the free world? 41% is no surprise. Hear the rest of the world laughing?

  • WMDs

[Read the article: Secrets and lies]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Just now the cousin of Saddam was sentneced to hang for using WMDs. Ever wondered where they came from? At that time Iraq was in a war of aggression against Iran and therefore fighting in the interest of the US. Rumsfailed shook Saddams hand. Cheney was alsoin Bagdad on another occasion. We should be wondering where the chemical and biological weapons originated. May be Dicky or Rummy could shed some light on it. Oh and by the way, the deteriorated and unusable chemical ammo found in 2003 came from the US.

  • Impeachment

[Read the article: Ten things about Dick]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It is clear there is a lack of balls in both houses of congress, however, the women who anatomically dont have them show a heck of a lot more. Impeach fitst Cheney, Bush will follow by virtue of his own stupidity.

  • What a bunch of s**theads

[Read the article: Don't ask me]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

And it includes lame asses like Snow and his sidekick Dana. Leaders of the free(?) world? My foot.

  • Lugar

[Read the article: Tough talk on Iraq, but will any action follow?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Just another do as I say but not as I do guy. Typical Rep.

  • Frontpage?

[Read the article: Impressions of Paris' last night in jail]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

How many soldiers were killed or wounded in an inane war, it should still be more relevant to us than this spoiled brat. But than I read papers from elsewhere on the globe. Lo and behold there was Paris and not only in France.

  • Isnt there anybody?

[Read the article: Cheney vs. the fish: Guess who won?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Who could turn off the air that Cheney needs? To hell with the environment, to hell with the USA, I am the boss of the decider. If that man has his way much longer we all lose. Lets hope for another really strong heart attack!

You forgot one other need for Gonzo:brain implant.

  • Is there any doubt?

[Read the article: White House: Transcripts are a "perjury trap"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

That the lying Bushman and cohorts are not telling the truth?

  • Garry Owen

[Read the article: Quote of the Day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Sorry, I hope I got it right this time. But with so many Arses in the White House,it is easy to miss one somewhere else. Sorry, modeler, by the way known to friends as Gerry.

  • Proportions

[Read the article: Interview with Helen Thomas]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

As it seems clear to most of us, there is one true journalist in the White House presscorps and a hell of a lot buttkissers. That seems to please the likes of Ari Fleisher and those who followed him and of course the bossman who cannot even get the English language right with all his hemmimg and harring.

  • Alfred E Neuman

[Read the article: Leahy, Conyers: We'll decide if the White House is in contempt]

What me worry? Keep subpoening, I am the decider.
