  • What else is new?

[Read the article: Sacrifice, Bush style: Watch TV]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ranting and raving is the trademark of this jerky BS artist. The feelings of the average American dont really count as long as this selfcentered halfwit gets his way. Dont forget that he sees himself as a war president, he made war against Iraq and left Osama bin Laden behind in Afghanistan in order to proclaim Mission accomplished without having previewed what was to follow. His thought for and about the American people are just pretenses, he doesn't really care. He lied to start his war and keeps lying to deny that he really lost not only his war but also the respect of the peoples of the world. Political jokes existed for ages, but never were they as demeaning but true as those in todays publications and in the other media. Our dearly beloved president is to lamebrained to realize that he lost it. Where are the people who can rid the country of this menace? If congress wont act, how about the military?

[Read the article: White House correspondents: Don't knock Bush]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Locotus, well said, beautifully worded and TRUE. Why is the presscorps so frightened to tell the truth? Are they all buttkissers or newspersons? Are they em-bare-assed that the Had Stevern Colbert last year? He was still relatively mild in his critiscism of the Bushit who treaaly deserves impeachment instead a media party.

  • Dear Dinesh

[Read the article: How the left caused 9/11, by Dinesh D'Souza]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Before ranting about liberal Democrats having caused the events of 9/11, how about reading up a little on the history of the house of Saud and the country named after them? You will find that there was and is a fundamentalist islamic group, the Wahabites. The Saudi princes would not be in power ,were it not for their support from this radical form of islam. They in turn support this aberrant group of fanatics by financing ( with oil dollars,no less ) countless madrassas all over the world, including the US, to teach this sects sickly ideology. The majority of the 9/11 perpetrators were Saudi citizen with exactly this sectarian faith, as is Osama bin Laden, who incidentally was originally supported by a republican US government when he organized the Mujehaddin in Afghanistan against the Russians. It was also the republican president GHW Bush who stationed US troops in the country of the holiest islamic sites, even though this placement came after Saddam Hussein occupied Kuweit. This fact obviously was one of the main reasons for the increasing hatred versus the United States amongst islamfascists. I dont remember seeing president Clinton walking hand in hand with the Saudi rulers as I saw both Bushmen. And there was the war with Iraq. Your friend and hero(?) Bush junior started this mess based on lies and deceit with the unforeseen result of a defeat and the loss of respect for the US around the world and derision of his adminstration among allied nations. It certainly takes a super neo-con to turn the facts around and blame somebody else for the stupidity of this administration of lamebrains.

Your post is heartwrenchingly well spoken. The feelings expressed in it deserve the editors choice star. If it was your own experience, my sympathy is with you as it is with all those who lost loved ones in this totally unnecessary disaster.

  • State of the Union

[Read the article: From bad to worse]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

One single sentence would express it: We are in a mess as long as I am your decider, Diviner or whatever. Dumbya

[Read the article: Escalate first, ask questions later]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

There are Dems ----and thern there are dumbs. You obviously belong to the latter, matching your idol the decider.

  • Oversight

[Read the article: A GOP alternative: Escalation with oversight]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What oversight? It is already in the constitution. The Congress and Senate have just not used it on the king and dercider and his gang. The Repugnicans have willingly avoided to exercise it and are now hollering for help in the form of bipartisanship. Hello!

[Read the article: Timing is everything]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If this was found six month ago, why was it not reported then? Is it another Bush lie to enhance his Mess of the Union address? Who can really say that this is not another Cgheney inspired lie?

[Read the article: McCain on Iraq: Cheney and Rumsfeld blew it]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Good old McCain is at it again. The wind direction changed, so did he. What else is new, just another Repugnican.

  • Al Gores nomination

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You need a psyciatrist if you think this president desrves any support from the people.

  • Senator Webb

[Read the article: "We will be showing him the way"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

His speech was right on the money. He was , hoever, polite enough not to mention that the two males on the dais at the State of the Union speech, the main instigators of the Iraq war, were also draft dodger and AWOL when people like Webb and millions of others really served their country and not just by mouthing off.

  • One of greatest strategists in US history

[Read the article: Bush makes nice, but Dick is still a killer]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If only he would not have chickened out of military service by lies and deceit when it was his time to serve! His lying and deceiving never stopped however.

  • Joe

[Read the article: Senate committee approves anti-escalation resolution]

    To stupid to register?

  • Diificulties

[Read the article: We still have Donald Rumsfeld to kick around]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It certainly would take a number of staffers to sort through the Rumsfailed bullshit produced during almost 6 years as organizer of the disaster in Iraq. Lets be fair, what does this help cost, especially if you compare it with the cost not only in money but also in lives wasted in Iraq?

  • Godinspired?

[Read the article: "The decider" is now "the decision maker"]

  • Phasing in?

[Read the article: What was the plan again?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Saturdays number of 7 killed looks more like phasing out.Why does the Fuehrer in the White House as the ultimate decision maker not listen to the majority of the American paople and insist on sending more targets to Iraq? In a true democracy he would be kicked out by now! But he is the Fuehrer Adolf Bush the second, or worst!

  • Huckabee for president

[Read the article: Huckabee for America]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]
