Larger Armed Force
[Read the article: Military readiness lowest since Vietnam War]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So we cant fight a ground war, where actually? The Armed Forces are sufficient to defend the country. We have two neighbouring states, both with nonthreatening military forces and democratically elected nonthreatening governments. Reasons for fighting them are nonextant if you exclude Canadas oil resources which already are serving us sufficiently. Any other potential enemy has to approach over a few thousand nautical miles facing the worlds largest Navy, missile systems and an Airforce with a surplus of planes. Any other ground war would be ouside of the US proper and would have to be defensive, definitely different from a war like the Iraqi affair. The USA has a military presence in places all over the globe, needed or not, especially after the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet empire. Bring those troops home and the numbers of a homebased army will increase substantially. Talking about a draft system is unnecessary unless we want to invade another country to "bring" democracy and freedom thereby causing another disaster. History shows that US involvement in illegal military interventions open and hidden has almost as many as any other colonial power in history. Is that what we call Freedom and Democracy? Allow me to doubt this. It would be more like colonial empire building. I think the nations of the World changed their opinion about this country, definitely not for the better, lets start repairing the damage.

Whitewash
[Read the article: Rep. Jim Kolbe's untold story]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That whole report is a whitewash for those homophobic(haha) Repugnicans. When did they actually do the proper thing instead of covering the ass of Foley and their own rearends? The hypocritic actions of Foley were supported by the likes of Kolbe, Hastert and a whole lot of others. The fact the democratic members of committees were kept in the dark for fear that the may publicize the misdeeds of their political friends and neighbours shows clearly how untrustworthy these SOBs really were and still are. Even after the investigation into this affair started, victims were advised not to rock the boat and keep quiet to protect the "protector of children" Foley by stating that he had resigned already. And this from the party of gaybashing religious fanatics and born agains a la Bushit! But then, these jobs are well paid and require little work which according to one of their ilk could easily be done from home by phone. Corruption rules!

What next?
[Read the article: Message: I listen]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Here we go again: My fellow Americans, listen to my next load of Bushit. The Situation in Eyerak is great, sorry grave. We are in the process of winning staying the course to hell, our economy is great , the debtload is increasing as planned by a few more or less billions a month, I will leave the mess-o-potomac for my successor to solve (deep down I hope for a Democrat to inherit it). Trust me, you know me as the decider (the bottles of it). And I will guarantee the rich to get richer and the poor can join the Forces if the want to succeed (or die in my War Presidents plans). And so forth and so on and on and on! You Presider.

A typical load of Bushit
[Read the article: Message: I listen]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]My fellow Americans, I am open to any and all advice I can get to solve the Mess-o-potomac (thank you Jon Stewart) in staying the course (to hell). The American economy if alive and well (The debtload is going up by a few billion more or less every month), The rich get richer and the poor can join the Forces for a better future ( or death whichever). I will leave my legacy to the next president (to get the troops out of harms way in Eyerak). Democratic defeatists probably will be successors and war loosers after 2008 ( dont tell anyone the case is lost already). Dont think for a moment that I will follow the defeatist advice of the Joint Committee (Karl Rove and Dick Cheney are better qualified to keep us in the war). The situation is great, sorry grave, but there is hope(that some saner group will eventually help us). As long as I am the decider (of all possible bottles of it) you in good hands(but better trust in All-State) Lovingly (go to hell) our Presider, (probably the worst in history) George the Turd.

War on Terror
[Read the article: Rumsfeld's Iraq regret: Calling the war a "war on terror"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The question is: Who are the terrorists? Anyone who conducts an illegal war aigainst a sovereign state commits an act of terror, especially if the attack is named shock and awe! Even the lame excuse of nonexisting WMDs, does not justify an ex-, sorry ,incursion like this. And Rumsfailed as the organizer of this act of terror (shock and awe ,remember?) is as guilty as his boss the vainglorious George the Turd of committing this crime against humanity (remember Nuremberg?). What is even worse that this jerk made this trip on the money, no increasing debtload of the people, schutzpah to the nth power.

Walk away?
[Read the article: You've got to know when to walk away]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Stay away in 2003 would have been the right move.Fighting terrorists that attcked in 2001 with full force was right. Letting up on this task to start another illegal war of aggression was wrong. Fighting a war on one front is better than fighting two wars at different fronts, always a bad idea. The Mess created by the Great Decider, Wartime President and whatever other titles this moron bestowed on himself is gone beyond repair. Soon the reputation of the US all over the world, not only among the enemies may also be in this category. The Solution? Impeach the SOB and his sidekick and fellow war creator yellowbelly Cheney, bring the rest of the gang to justice and send them to serve in Iraq while the troops are packing up. At this point in time a woman President would not be bad at all. As a matter of fact it seems to be the best move.
