  • Six month

[Read the article: The next six months in Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Plus another six and another six in no time flat you have 6 years, than 60 years and so on ad infinitum. When does the reality sink in into those desecrated brains of Generals and politicians that the war is lost, LOST no matter what. It has become a struggle between sects of a mideavial religion, with the US as an invader with little or no understanding of the differences amongst the groups involved, unable to communicate on a personal level in a culture as foreign to them us as theirs is to ourselves. The Zionist background operators like Wolfowitz, Perle et al regarded Saddams Iraq as a danger to the creator of much of the violence in the middle east, the state of Israel, and convinced the lamebrained president of the US to attack not realizing it seems that this would create more enmity and terrorists not only threatening the US, but the whole western world and culture. The costs of this idiotic move are firstly thousands of lives and secondly unending danger to millions of people around the world. Facism in a new guise but every bit as evil as the past form. The people of the US have voted for a change in policy, it is time to make it happen and prosecute those who caused this disaster.

  • Carville vs Dean

[Read the article: Carville: Dean's leadership "Rumsfeldian"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Carville never had the guts to run in an election. He is a typical backroomboy, maybe not quite as bad as a certain Jack Abramoff, I would not trust him, period. Howard Dean is intelligent and open, seems to be as honest as can be expected from a politian, greatly preferable to both of the above mention influence peddlers. And miles above a certain George W. Bush as far as intelligence , speaking ability and honesty are concerned. It is high time for the democratic party to show Jimmy the door.

  • Christmas-Business-Walmart-MONEY !

[Read the article: O'Reilly beats WalMart into submission]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What a surprise. What I am wondering about why all the BS and ads about christams are already in print, on view and on radio before thanksgiving? And good ole Santa is in parades when his day according to traditional teaching is Saint Nicolaus Day on December 6? Just asking of course, being an atheist I could not really care. My family celebrates nonetheless. Afterall Christianity put the Xmas days really close to the "pagan" celebration of the shortest day on the Northern Hemisphere to satisfy ancient Europeans celebrating just this day by giving presents to friends and family. Why doesn't smartass O'Reilly put that question forward? Christmas has become the goldmine for business and hippocracy and that is a shame. Ripping off people is the real reason behind all this hype. MONEY,MONEY,MONEY rules!

  • Leaders?

[Read the article: Meet your House Republican leaders]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Phariseas would be the better title for these false prophets.

  • Bush in Vietnam?

[Read the article: George W. Bush on the lessons of Vietnam]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

How come now? He sure as hell missed the boat by almost half a century. Apparently going AWOL was easier!

  • Contraceptives

[Read the article: Bush family-planning pick: Marketing contraceptives demeans women]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I bought condoms before my wife got her pills in the 1960s. Three children were enough and our sexlife did not suffer at all and continued to the present. How did the presidential couple manage to have only one pair of twins? Poor George.

  • Commander in Cheese

[Read the article: More troops for Iraq? How many more?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Any troop increases in Iraq should be led by the man who calls himself CinC and that in person. To make up the contingent lets name a few: Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle, Frum, oh and since women have the same status as men in the armed forces, lets not forget Laura (who by the way knows how to kill) and Condi. And let them stay for as long as possible.

  • Rove to go?

[Read the article: Is Karl Rove on the way out?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Would be nice, but those who believe will save their soul and those who dont, go to heaven too.

  • Campus Police

    [Read the article: Shocking incident]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

From here it looks and sounds as if those idiots have at least Masters Degrees in Brutality.

  • Voting

[Read the article: In Florida, Democrats seek a new election]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Diebold has done it again. What is wrong with a paper ballot and a pen or pencil,18,380 voters forgot the congress? Typical repugnican BULLSHIT. Isn't the governor a distant relative of the worst president in history, like brother? Outlaw the shrubs in all guises and the voting machines with them.

  • Flip-flop

[Read the article: McCain: I was against Roe before I was for it before I was against it]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

A great tradition in the GOP (Great odorous Party), so why would anyone expect McCain be different. A womans body should be her own.I once respected the Senator for his sufferings in Vietnam but it got to the point that I suffer listening to the sound of his flip-flops.

  • Bush listening?

[Read the article: The decider says he hasn't decided]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Why the hell did this idiot not listen to some sane people before he ordered the invasion of a sovereign state under false pretenses and lies to create thousands of terrorists instead of getting rid of the original ones? Even the fancy dress ball on the Aircraft Carrier on May 30 2003 was a lie. Nothing was accomplished that was worth this charade. The flowers that are continuously thrown at the troops have a tendency to kill, the freedom and democracy he brought to Iraq resulted in mayhem and a civil war. The taxpayers lost billions so that the likes of Halliburton of Cheneys grace could grab a great percentage of it and make it disappear hell knows where. He is the decider,he should have choked on that Pretzel, the country and the world would have been a much safer place and almost 3000 brave servicemen would still be alive and thousands more would have good health and all their limbs. On top of it all, the reputation of the US has been seriously damaged around the world. Places like Abu Graib abd Gitmo as well as those other secret prisons and rendering of innocent people to countries like Syria for torture looks a lot like the despicable concentration camps of the nazi rule, international treaties like the Geneva convention were deliberately disrespected and denied. And so on and on. Is this the great American idea of fredom and democracy? I think not. some questions should be asked before the House and Senate and action taken to set things right. Time for a decision to get rid of the insane decider.

  • Joe

[Read the article: Right, but actually winning the White House would have been nice, too]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Looks like he gained some sanity!
