It means
[Read the article: Support for Iraq war reaches new low]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]that two out of three Americans still have not seen the light. Rather scary in a way, right Joe? But with 64 % in opposition there is hope for an indictment ,yet.
-
Good Show
[Read the article: Republicans vs. Democrats or Republicans vs. the news?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Could not happen to a nicer bunch of crooks.
-
Anonymus
[Read the article: Bogged down on earth, Bush looks to the heavens]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I have to agree with you. Who is Bush(it) to dictate any other country what or what not to do. Besides that, does the Name Werner von Braun ring a bell? After the Russians launched Sputnik and an all American copy of von Browns rockets blew up during launch, von Braun had to take over with his design to launch the first American sattelite, which incidentally contained RCA designed ,Montreal produced electronics. It was international cooperation afterall that led to the exploration of space. And space does not belong to any country. The yellow-bellied, war avoiding, saber rattling numbscull initialled GWB is the right person to threaten anyone! His skill as a wartime leader has been and is being prooven in Eye-rak and Afghanistan, and is nothing to be proud of.

Bush interview
[Read the article: A secret plan for Iraq?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]On TV Dubya finally admitted,in a way, sort of, that the war in Iraq by now is somewhat like ,dare I say it, the Tet offensive in Viet Nam. We do remember what happened next. Victory, or something like that, for the other side. And that was said from one George to another.

25 % vs 75%
[Read the article: Democrats win a round on Foley voting, but it's only the beginning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If only 25 percent of voters believe implicitely that their votes are counted correctly, that leaves 75 % not so convinced. Well they can relax, Diebold has a way to make certain that they will have voted for the Reps. Afterall electronics are non partisan, Or?

One Word says it all:
[Read the article: The Iraqis are learning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Disgusting! PS The fathers of the Constitution must be turning in their graves with the speed of light.
-
God picked them all
[Read the article: "Ugly choices" in Iraq -- but after the election is over]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bush claims that he is only directed by God. Nows the Chief of Staff claims the same for Rumsfeld. What a pile of crap. Thank whichever or whatever, I am agnostic.
-
To early
[Read the article: "Ugly choices" in Iraq -- but after the election is over]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I should have waited a little longer. I could have included Joe and his comment in the pile of crap mentioned before.
-
Are you certain?
[Read the article: Fox News, fair ... and liberal?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That Kincaid is his real name, reading his article one is disposed to assume it to be Kinky. Right wing alright.
-
Amarah
[Read the article: Bush to discuss Iraq tactics with Gen. Abizaid]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The television pictures from Amarah show truly that the war in Iraq is being won, question is by whom.
-
Joe
[Read the article: Lynndie England: "They said, 'Good job. Keep it up'"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why are you blowhard not in Eyye-rak , preferably Abu Graib? Your great friend the decider made sure that is were the little guys punished. Lindy England is as much a victim as those tortured and mistreated Iraqis. You idiot have outdone yourselves this time in your bottomless ignorance.
-
Joe
[Read the article: Lynndie England: "They said, 'Good job. Keep it up'"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I did my fighting, plenty of years and know the miseries of war. That is probably a hell of a lot more than you can say, if you cannot figure out who is telling the lies to the people (WMDs for instance) and who started an illegal war and is responsuble for places like Gitmo and Abu Graib and still defending those liars , than you should take time out and get the experience youself. Maybe your statements and comments will be a little smarter. There is lots of room on that front.

The price?
[Read the article: The price of war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Too bloody high in any way, shape or form. Any war is an abomination, this particular one is idiotic like the bunch who started it. The unfortunate reality of dead and wounded (mostly crippled for life) soldiers is enough to condem this disaster. The estimated 380,000 Dollar spent every minute on it is equal to the lifetime income of many an American and could be used for better purposes such as increased social spending or lower taxes for the majority of people instead of the richest section of society by the Bush taxcuts. The Halliburtons of this country make their profits from this unnecessary criminal waste. For what purpose one may ask. Handing over the flag that covered a casket does not bring back the sons, husbands and fathers whose lives were ended supposedly bringing democracy to countries which dont want it and dont know the meaning of the word. Another result is the growing hatred of the US and especially the president together with an ever increasing number of terrorists. Mission Accomplished Mr. Bush!
-
Hey Joe
[Read the article: The price of war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Where are you on this one? Not to your liking?
-
Stay the course?
[Read the article: "Stay the course"? Who said anything about "staying the course"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You need a captain who knows something about navigation, not a lamebrained pilot who knew how to keep out of Viet-Nam by going AWOL and then reappear in full gear for a Mission accomplished show when actually very little was done and the real problem just started.
-
Cheneys aim
[Read the article: Cheney on the "last throes": Never mind]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]His political savvy aside, his aim on Iraq is as lousy as his hunting skills. Except in this case he shot himself in the foot, which apparently was in his mouth (as usual).
-
And than there was Diebold
[Read the article: Counting votes, before and after the election]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and electronic cheating on behalf of the Repugnicans, works better than counting paper ballots which can be recounted.
-
And again
[Read the article: "Mission accomplished," the electoral edition]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]there still is Diebold. And the fix seems to be in already, right Mr. Bushit and Dr. Rove?
-
What the Shrub did not say as yet
[Read the article: The upside of terror]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]With all his resemblance to the Fascist dictator and his Enabling Act of 1933,he did not say Sieg Heil yet. Otherwise Garrison Keillor is right on. Well said as usual for him.
