  • Why

[Read the article: Bush and bin Laden, or when the "urban myth" happens to be true]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

did practically every nation signed on the the Generva Convention? Why doesn't the president protect American service men from torture and inhuman conditions? It is all right with him if rogue nations pass a bill similar to the one he is pushing? Why did he not answer the question about this matter and went to the next man? The true answer is he is not only stupid but has the brainpower of a child. Why did 50 Million plus US citizen vote for this imbecile? He lied and cheated, started illegal wars and is responsible for the death of thousands of people, all in the name of the USA, why? Why is he not impeached or better yet indicted? What is wrong with the people who can do something about it? How about it Mr. Senate Leader, Mr. House Leader? He is a blotch on the Republican Party in whose name he commits those illegalities. What about the Constituion and the division of powers, he apparently castrated both House and Senate leaders! How does that feel gentlemen ot puppets?

  • Surprise

    [Read the article: Jersey hustler]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Just another politician. Anything for a buck including honesty and sincerity. Really notjong new in this department.

  • Degradation and Humiliation

[Read the article: Quote of the Day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

For Stephen Hadley the answer should be clear. The most degrading and humiliating treatment for the population of the United States is the presence of George W Bush and his gang, including one Stephen Hadley in the White House as president and government. It has been the worst in US history. Hadleys question is indicative of the incompetence of the crew around King George.

  • Damage

[Read the article: Powell: Bush tactics cause world to doubt the United States]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

How much more damage is really needed? Just after 9/11 even Iran had demonstrations to protest the attacks by Al Qaida. The rest of the world with very few exceptions agreed with this sentiment. How things have changed! Even in countries which are part of the "Coalition of the Willing" public opinion has dramatically changed. Tony Blair hangs on by the thinnest of threads, Spain withdrew its troops from Iraq after its conservative government was defeated. The President admitting the existence of secret prisons in torture prone countries has brought strong critizism from Ms Merkel in Germany, who recently hosted GWB at the worlds most expensive BBQ ever (almost 16 million Euro). Public opinion around the world of the actions of the American government, not Americans in general, has reached all time lows. Were is the freedom gone? The promoter of democracy, decider, Commander in Chief, has been identified as the biggest promoter of lies and, yes, terrorism by invading Iraq. Abu Graib, Guantanamo and the tratment of prisoners has even US courts declaring the illegality of these actions. Not enough though, we must legalize waterboarding, sleep prevention and similar treatments for prisoners, not only those in our hands, but by inference our own soldiers, should the fall into enemy hands. Well done Mr President, Who really deserve our admiration are Colin Powell, Sen's McCain, Warren and others, who based on their military experience are opposing this lunacy.

  • Joeyboy

[Read the article: A "heck of a job" for Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

By stating that there may be some dirty Dems too, you are finally admitting that Republicans are dirty. Well done Joe!

  • What we know by now

[Read the article: George Allen and the "aspersion" of Judaism]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The good senator is a hypocrite,a racist,a rebel, an ignoramus, and a lousy liar. A true neocon republican politian who is scared to loose his cushy job as a jewnessy follower of all the other Bushites.

  • Freedom of the press.

[Read the article: Santorum: It's all the media's fault]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Senator Santorum is complaining about one of the pillars of a democratic society, which incidentally is given make believe status even by his own Republican Party. And the press? Most of them have been kissing up to the misunderestimator in the White House for too damn long. They are finally breaking free, realizing that the WH under Bush has more resemblance to an outhouse. The junk that voters are being fed comes mainly from there, witness todays speech of the great decider before the UN. Garbage in the truest sence of the word. All delivered with the typical dumb grin.

  • Who really messed up?

[Read the article: In Iraq, train wrecks on two tracks?]

  • Missed some of it

[Read the article: In Iraq, train wrecks on two tracks?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, Rove, Powell o hell, this ist is really endless, but we certainly know who. Thank you Mr. Decider, we do not have to misunderestimate.

  • Just another George

[Read the article: Quote of the Day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Anything goes for both of those liars. Next thing the Allen type will deny: That he is a man.

  • Dearest General

[Read the article: And if my grandmother had tracks, she'd be a Bradley Fighting Vehicle]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

And than there once was a 30 year war, are you working on a repetition, and if so who is going to inherit and carry on this mess?

  • Skater

[Read the article: George Allen damage control, or "macaca" meets the ham sandwich]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Watching George Allens skating on the issues and questions asked of him, a second career is a definite possibility when looses in November: The National Hockey League. Their skaters earn more than senators, however, they have still better skating skills.

  • This is not from Joe

[Read the article: The GOP and the detainees: If this is a play, how does it end?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Your Reps are fighting for their political supremacy. Big Oil is their truest ally. Now that the oil magnates made their billions over the past three quarters and the years before, their partner and protector dear king George has a problem. So what better to make people happy than to lower oil prices, especially with an election coming up.They can easily recoup if their favorites are back in the seats of power. Watch for the increases coming back in December. You are doing a heck of job Karl. Hav'nt we heard something similar before?

  • Great Copycats

[Read the article: Why are so many Americans still hoodwinked?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Dr. Josef Goebbels was the top liar of the Nazis. The Bush gang is great trying to copy him, Any wonder? They are pseudo fascist in their actions. At least it still works with 30 % of Americans, probably the types like the famous Joe of this posts.

    Q

  • Joeyboy

    [Read the article: Insult-laden diplomacy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If the shrub calls anybody opposed to him evil, why can't Chavez explain his point of view? He was right on at least with his statement that Bush thinks he owns the world. Far from it, even if you and about 30 % of Americans think that this is so!
