  • Impeach?

[Read the article: Impeach Alberto Gonzales? Stranger things have happened]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Remember the old Brit song of WWII F*** them all, may be the four letters should be redone to impeach'm all. They deserve it! Gonzales to lead them all for his denouncement of the Geneva Convention. Did he ever think of a GI being taken prisoner? I doubt his brain was capable of that.

  • Thruth

[Read the article: "An Inconvenient Truth"? Doubt it. "United 93"? Bring it on]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Bush does not know what the truth is. And a AWOList first class would not even know what a hero is! To suggest that he watch the Inconvinient Truth, what a farce, as he put it there is no Global Warming, and we dont change our lifestyle. All scientific evidence means nothing ot him, being incapable even to speak a complete sentence without a teleprompter. Since he brags about his reading books, here is one for him: The Weather Makers by Tim Flannery. If he can make sense of the evidence quoted, he might still watch Al Gores Documentary and learn something. As another commentary mentioned, he sat dumbfounded for 8 mintues on 9/11, great decider really, than for hours in Airforce One with out addressing the nation. Heroic indeed , like his service in Vietnam!!!Worst President ever.

  • No one died

[Read the article: "No one died at Abu Ghraib" isn't true]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Hello Doctor Goebbels, he also was a perfunctuary liar, and he originated the sentence: If you repeat a lie loud end often enough, people will believe it. Nuff said, welcome George and Tony.

  • Laurels for Laura

[Read the article: What New Orleans needs now is ... Laura Bush?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You are doing a heck of a job Browny, ehh Laura.

  • The worst?

[Read the article: The worst president? A poll says it's Bush]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What else is new? His approval rating was already the lowest of all presidents since Roosevelt. At any rate it is true, he won a poll, it has not happened for quite a while. Maybe he gets his swagger back or is he going to cry? According to Laura it is the liberal press distortion and not the truth that made his popularity tank. Now she can be proud again!

  • Cheney, military expert?

[Read the article: White House wordplay]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

His statement " From a military stand point" created wonderment and laughter when it was first made. How can a draft evader who is unable to shoot straight know about military standpoionts when his own outlook was to avoid standing at attention in a bootcamp and better yet learn about the alphas and omegas of combat. But not to worry, this seems to be the standpoint of the bossman too. What an opportunity for both to become War "leaders", what a disaster for all others!

  • War dead

[Read the article: May's honor roll of dead soldiers]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

My sincere condolences to the friends and relatives of the 67 men and women on this month' list of victims of the war waged by none other than an AWOL artist and a draft dodger. Not counted are the wounded losing health and limbs or those who suffer the results of seeing friends and comrades killed and maimed. This madcap enterprise cost the United Stated the admiration of peoples and Nations all over the globe and the hatred of of others who despise the invaders of their country. Another billion or so, sympathize with those occupied for religious reasons. The man who sat dumbfounded for 8 minutes in a kindergarden and than went into hiding with Airforce one on 9/11 carries the final responsibility for this disaster based on lies and deception. He tried to portay himself as the hero he never was when he swaggered onto the deck of an aircraft carrier and proclaimed Mission Accomplished. What a bragging moron. Hero, my foot. Sorry for those who did not make it home alive. Lets hope against hope that this misdirected effort ends soon. In the meantime scores of new terrorists were created who make any victory pyrrhic at best.

  • How many more?

[Read the article: The massacre at Haditha, or a few "bad apples" revisited]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Gitmo, Abu Ghraib, Hadita and how many more we dont know about yet? We're trained to kill and kill we will, we all must have heard it at least once. It is the bootcamp shout of the Marines. So why are we surprised? Again there will be prosecution of the little guys and sentences to be served. The responsible parties who started this mess will sit in judgement and cover their rear ends. And while we are talking war crimes, Bush, Cheney. Rumsfeld, Gonzales, etc etc should face war crimes trials. It has happened before to highest ranking "leaders" of nations, including military personnel, organized by none other than the US, afterall Nuremberg was in the American Zone and Tokio, also US occupied. What was good for the goose should be good for the gander! Even if king George the W and Co fakes ignorance.

  • War as last resort?

[Read the article: When diplomacy is the "last resort"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

People trusted Bush on this before Irak, they just did not know what was going on behind the scenes. Nobody knew the lies and tricks used to start this disaster. Bush said it again, but softened his expression, not necessarily his stand with respect to Iran. Why? Did he realize that he stood alone pushing for military action? Evidently the European powers were sceptical, the butt kissing small fry over there excluded, and unwilling to support another illegal action by the US. Even the willing Blair ,due to popularity problems over his policies, seems to have second thoughts.Who really needs another disaster like Irak, even if that mission was pronounced accomplished on May 1, 2003. So what are the troops still fighting, even if their morale is excellent, according to the military "news" paper? Ah yes, they are mostly in the heavily protected enclaves, while the two major muslim groops kill each other and innocent civilians. Some protection and reconstruction they get from the occupier!

  • Reagan best?

[Read the article: The worst president? A poll says it's Bush]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In my previous comment I overlooked the by then almost Alzheimer bound actor, another war avoider as a person, but war creator as president. But at least he could claim "victory" in Grenada, forget his other idiosyncracies, but he should never be rated amongst the best. Even as an actor he was sort of lousy.
