Superdelux = Turner Networks
[Read the article: I Like to Watch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey, Superdelux is owned by Turner Networks. I'm pretty sure Brad Neely's Professor Brothers has already been picked up on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, so you don't have to alert Comedy Central. I'm glad you just found out about this stuff, but Neely's top clips have hundreds of thousands of views, and Bible History #1 is over a million. If you like the JFK video, you should also search for his Washington clip - you can still find it out there sometimes, although it isn't on Superdelux or Youtube any more.
Oh yeah - he has a completely separate series that will also make you laugh: I am Babycakes.

I'm betting...
[Read the article: McCain seems awfully happy with Tuesday's results]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...they're pretty happy about this. With both Democratic candidates out-earning McCain consistently throughout the primary season, I'd be thankful for every dime they spent trying to take each other down. No matter which one of them wins (I'm backing Obama), they can count on the financial support of at least some percentage of the other's backers in the actual election.
In addition, the expensive primary battle is tying up Democratic dollars that could (and should, by this point) be going to regional gubernatorial, Senate, and House races. Every time the DSCC writes me for cash these days, I write back to tell them to end the primary battle first. Then I remind them of their awful telecom-amnesty bill, just for kicks.

FISA
[Read the article: Learning to live with the "new" Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think the Obama campaign has made a gross miscalculation here. There are many people I know (in MA) who have been with the Obama campaign for a long time, working tirelessly to canvass New England states and donating more than they can afford. Many of them are done now. People who were ready to help Obama steamroll McCain are really shaken, and are questioning their involvement.
There has been little or no effort from the campaign to explain the situation. The people who have built this campaign have read up on the issue and aren't buying the "the revisions to FISA outweighed the telecom amnesty" argument. No one has satisfactorily explained how the revisions are beneficial.
Perhaps Obama can do it without our money (maybe he can make up the difference from Verizon/AT&T executives & big Democratic bundlers that used to be with Clinton. But who is going to make the calls and knock on the doors?

Miscalculation
[Read the article: Subject, verb, POW]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Well, McCain just lost the coveted role-player vote. I can't wait to see his next Rasmussen numbers among LARPers and Cos-players!
