Dumbsfeld and Dick

Dick Cheney began his unelected rise to power as a Senate aide in??? Donald Dumsfeld's Senate office. About 30 years later he is VP on the coat tails of idiots and Donny Dumsfeld is running a rampant and unnecessary war for oilfields - excluding and ignoring the advice of military personnel we have invested millions of dollars and years in educating. Our best military minds warnings were ignored by the big ego and small other parts of Donald Rumsfeld and the criminal mind of Dick Cheney. Trashing the Constitution of the United States is one thing and only one thing: criminal. Time for Holder to find them under their rocks and pull them out. While he is at it - confiscate their illegal pensions, retirement bonuses and oil/war profits. True American created and protected this country and it's Constitution with their blood, body parts and lives. These True American Patriots, as well as others, demand in the name of what we stand for - that justice be served and not be mocked and that the good name of our country be restored. These two men are the epitome of evil and served only themselves, their egos and their lust for power. Try as he might to distance himself from them, Bush in his dumb like a fox ignorance should be included without question. It's time for Mr. Holder to do his job. Don't review it - do it.

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Unfortunate Term, Much Truth in the Article, and Something Else

Fag Hag is an OLD OLD term that should be tarred and feathered... then tossed somewhere deep.

These women are drawn to gay men not for fashion advice or to gossip - they are drawn to them because they are safe to be with and usually fun to be with. Let's face it - straight men are constantly focused on one thing, and it isn't "friendship".

This article had sharps and barbs - which is typical of many gay men. They really don't like anyone other than other gay men. And unfortunately, it is almost always obvious in their better than thou snobbery.

"Don't compliment me, I already know."

Will and Grace did free up the mainstream perceptions - so don't go all the way around to block to find your reasons to knock it. You're reaping the benefits. Rock Drone blah and, yes, boring. Thankless and uppity for no reason.

The image was better than the reality of snobby gay men. The apartment was GREAT. And so was the FRIENDSHIP.

Great Truth Brings Out the Shriveled Up and Jealous Whiners

Can the wanna-be, done nothing, over the hill shriveled up men who as so jealous of Bill Clinton it fills the air with a stench please leave the - like, the planet. You're green with envy and have nothing positive to say about anything in your posts. I see here a pervasive mention of political foes. Journalists should not be political - they should be fair and balanced and take goodness at it's face value.

Really - we are all so sick of the ugly, small jealous men. It's so unattractive. Certainly this sort of man is living alone and has no prospect of ever being anything else but alone with their ugly complaints and jealousy. Accomplishing nothing aside from the drone of waaaah and pooh they have no control over at this late time in their insignificant lives.

Go Bill. Go Hillary. Two of the best Americans living today. They don't need us. But we sure as hell need them.

So - whining chorus of old wrinkled men so jealous of Bill... get therapy - or better, drop off the end of the Earth. No one will care or take notice... except for the welcomed peace and quiet left behind after the sound of few very small "plunks" and an after splash.

Good riddance! Fresh Air!

Old Boys With Jealous Faces and Voices We're Tired of Hearing

The Tunnel

Ironic that you ended your piece with the term "There is a light at the end of the tunnel."

As much as I disagree with this mother's decision - I believe their entire reasoning is based on the same statement - though in an entirely different context and with a capital "L".

There is a Light at the end of the tunnel on the path they've chosen as well.

Yes - let's not be the judge. Unfortunately, I believe that when her son dies the agonizing death this disease will bring on him - and hopefully she will find Palliative Care to help - she will see that the two paths offered ended in the same ugly and painful place. Only one will leave her alone without her son - where she will be her own judge. No, she doesn't need our collective judgements, she needs our collective support. As certainly as her son does.
