Dear Camille,
The blood spurts in me eyes from all the jugulars you yanked out this go round. My mind and word limit allows me to comment on a few of your finer points, and I will.
Mitt Romney’s out-of-date-and-touch assessment that there is a threat of a new religion of secularism. Ha. Avante Garde is dead. Atheism, publicly, is as dead as Madelyn Murray Ohaire, and it was dying then. You are right about popular culture … that it “ has waned into flashy, transient niche entertainment. The young, who are masters of ever-evolving personal technology, are besieged by the siren call of materialism.”
So besieged they continue to blur the lines of art and entertainment, and they are beginning to not know the difference.
Finally, old girl. Don't let that green Jesus Al Gore get you down. Sometimes we have to use honey instead of vinegar .... but if you are going to go the vinegar route, why don't you just go ahead and call him a pussy? Chief propogandist, yes. His 100K retaining fee for speaking engagements says it all. What's most disapointing is that now he's taken the celeb route instead of attempting to change public policy.
See what television and the Internet do to our black-red Dionysian hearts? And still I pine for you ... like a virgin ... hee ... touched for the ... GAWD you know the rest.
Are we celebrating or skewering? Sexual intrigue or paramour rompings? And you know, what's worse? The rhetoric of a supreme court judge alluding to motherhood as the ultimate womanly duty? Or the rhetoric of Salon, Gawker, TMZ, OK, Page Six, Insert Smut Gossip Rag name here, to allude to the promiscous sex lives of American publicity whores, mainly single women spreading their legs for an audience. So ... if you're going to bend over backwards and stand up for your right to choose, girls of the 21st century, the least you can do is turn on the camera, put on a little lipstick and get ready for your closeup! Women according to Salon: Damned if we do. Damned if we don't before twelve weeks. Gees Louise, guys. Gimme something to read.
"Talk about the black community -- he has taught the black community you don't have to act like Jesse Jackson, you don't have to act like Al Sharpton. You can talk about the issues. Great dignity. And this is a breakthrough. And good for the people of Iowa."
How does Bennett know what BO taught the black community? Sorta hard to ascertain since he's not black.
You don't have to act like JJ or AS? What does that mean? That BO acts more white? And that's why he's dignified?
BO victory in Iowa is a breakthrough, and it is more than good for the people of Iowa but not for those reasons. Come on CNN. Come on Bennett. Just shut your mouth ... Your lilly white mouth. For please.
Nice rubber and glue report!
