and will be back later. I have to hunt them down.
FYI... I only went into so much detail because there were questions about what had happened by commenters who did not know.
I do agree that Glenn's point was valid... other people were taking care of that point.
In no particular order... and not even chronological, either, since these threads went on for many weeks, and also because the Lieberman-blackface was not the only grievance, but it was a major catalyst.
Also, this is not a "complete" list, but it is fairly comprehensive, since these posts include additional links, and all are from POC bloggers (exc, BagNewsNotes, which is instead a diverse group). Be forewarned, you can spend a long time exploring them:

Donna at The Silence of Our Friends, has a lengthy compilation of links, not all of them restricted to race, because sexism reared its ugly head, too, and topics overlap:

I've probably forgotten some important ones, but these are ones that I remember and they will link you to others. I also didn't want to go on for pages. It was quite the brouhaha, and I haven't even included any links from white bloggers.

[I had forgotten about the blues brothers glasses photoshopped on Clinton.]
...because some commenters did not know about the original incident, and when they checked it out, they didn't understand why it seemed that so many commenters observed different rules for lefties than for righties. I was asked (by a regular) for links and I supplied them.
For the record, I have never been a Lieberman supporter, and still have not forgiven him even for running for both Senate and VP in 2000. And I even donated to Lamont via FDL and Act Blue.
I only got involved because I remembered the incident well, including both my own reactions and those of many other bloggers. There was no feigning involved, unless you mean the disingenuousness of the apologists. Eventually, everyone will be ready to move on, once they've all had their say. Dismissing people's legitimate reactions does not make that happen any sooner.
