Forgive my political incorrectness, but these bozos (like Adam Nagourney of the NY Times) skewer national political reporting and they should be called on their sexual and political stances.

We all know that Matt Drudge is an evil, right-wing homo (who supports hypocritical, right-wing homosexual homophobes like Senators Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell and Larry Craig and Representatives David Dreier -- and the late, unlamented Mark Foley) and yet no one calls him on it?

Judging just from this post, I'd guess that Michael Scherer is an inside-the-Beltway pundit punk on the order of David Broder or David Brooks. Maybe I'm being too harsh, because I've never heard of this particular idiot.

But why should he be getting on John Edwards for making very legitimate attacks on Hillary "the Triangulator" Clinton or Barack Obama? They're his opponents in the Democratic primaries, for chrissakes.

Edwards is the one out front on universal health care, not Hillary or Obama. That counts a lot for me, as both my wife and my autistic son will be uninsured come 2008.

Also, Edwards was honest and brave enough to admit that he was wrong to vote for Bush's War Resolution in 2002 (very much unlike Hillary, who admits to making no mistakes -- except trusting George W. Bush. What does that say about her gullibility and political cowardice?)

I like the fact that Obama said he would've voted against the Iraq War, but why isn't he pulling for an immediate withdrawal? We fucked up going in, but the coming out is going to be fucked up, too. Just get opur American troops home and out of harm's way. The Iraqis are going to keep killing each other, no matter what we do.

Outside of Al Gore, John Edwards is the most moral and centered candidate the Democrats have. The more of Edwards I see, the more I like him.

The comparison of John Edwards to JFK seems quite apt. Even though Edwards was born poor and had to earn his wealth, both JFK and John Edwards seem genuine in their desire to help the poor and the working class of America -- and they follow in the footsteps of the greatest Presidident of the 20th century -- FDR. All were or are men of wealth and privilege who truly care for those less economically fortunate than they.
