yeah well.

The south will probably not go for a Democrat in the next 50 years and they sure as hell won't elect a black man. (Many experts thing that Obama's race costs him about 6 percentage points.)

calling everyone a "racist" who points out you're propping up an empty suit w/o any accomplishments DOES have a way of turning people off.

But considering Clinton led McCain in Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentuckey, Pennsylvania and even Massachusetts by double-digit margins I'm thinking it's not a Democratic thing at all but rather something like their noting the lunatic fringe shoved another loser on the Democratic ticket.

pfft.

"Last I looked obama was not even competitive in the south, southwest, lower midwest and entire rocky mountain region."

- How long ago did you look? The south will probably not go for a Democrat in the next 50 years and they sure as hell won't elect a black man. (Many experts thing that Obama's race costs him about 6 percentage points.) The south and lower midwest are hardly bastions of intelligence, so none of this is surprising. However, NV, CO, and NM are reasonably in play.

Piffle all 3 should have been solidly Democratic.

The fact that they're near certainly ALL going to go McCain even in the midst of a national economic meltdown is PROOF of the near universal contempt and loathing Americans have for Nobama and his vapid,buck-toothed supporters.

All I know are the facts

Okay, hootowl, in your world it is inconceiveable that a segment of white Amreica (perhaps large enough in some regions to flip the electoral tally) will not vote for Obama because he's black - and you think I'm out of touch?

Arguing about white racism when near 100% of the black vote in the primaries went to Obama is more than ridiculous.

@"BONGO"

People are best served by voting for candidates who they think will best serve their interests.

Precisely the reason blacks should be the Clinton's best supporters. They did serve their interests; black poverty fell by 17% and black median income gains were around 33%.

Not bad.

Yet when blacks had the choice they supported a half-black charlatan and his race-baiters 100%.

So I'm guessing you're not white and can't see this patent hypocrisy and what a turn-off it is to the rest of us.

Also -since it was a Democratic primary I'm not sure what your babble about blacks leaning Democratic has to do with anything

Obama is the only Presidential candidate in American history who actually KNOWS what it is like to be black in America.

Yet despite this when he had a real opportunity to help poor black Americans he sided with a Syrian slumlord to turn their heat off in the middle of January in Chicago.

Similarly not one single person has come forward to testify a damned thing he did to improve their lives during his back-office community "activist" years.

So please, don't bore me with talk about racism. The worst of the racists this time by far are the blacks.

@"BONGO" - Obama just can't close the deal.

Are women automatically sexist for having supported Hillary?

WTF. Women did not block vote for Hillary (nor Sarah Palin). What on earth is your point?

Hypocrisy? No, fankly, I don't see any hyporcisy. Hypocrisy would be if black peole voiced support for one candidate and then voted for another.

WTF. You're making the case for the PUMA's for Godsakes, but I suppose justifying the wholesale racist behavior of the black community this past primary would have most anyone in a pretzel.

This is not the 1990's.

Damned unfortunate too.

As well as black people fared under Clinton, times have changed.

The more reason to support their proven leadership over empty promises. If you chose to vote for someone based on their skin color, which obviously you and many blacks did than that was racist AND foolish.

What HASN'T changed is the Republican smear machine. We neededs someone who knew how to deal with it and has proven they can handle it and win.

What's going on now PROVES it. The GOP had this one all mapped out on tripping out the bailout and letting the market crash. John McCain will now round up the Republicans to vote for the bailout and convince Americans he's the leader that can bring everyone together and save us.

They had this all mapped out and the inexperienced Obama and the ineducable fools on the fringe left stepped right into it.

Clearly they see something in Obama that Mrs. Clinton didn't have.

Yes, I know. His skin pigmentation. Just don't call the rest of the racists.

Er, Buuuuuuuuuuungo

Std. reply when you idiots can't support your tripe. Everyone is a "racist" and/or "racist Republican". YAWN.

Then again maybe you're just a moron that shoved the weakest possible candidate on the ticket and are in fact John McCain's best friend.

Monday, September 29, 2008 04:54 PM

ooooooooooooh!

Suffice to say, you are a republican whore.

Standard tripe when the lunatic fringe can't support their tripe. Everyone is a 1)"racist" 2) a "racist Republican" and/or (drumroll....) a "racist Republican whore".

YAWN

Small wonder Nobama can't close the deal. An empty suit followed by a cult of foul-breathed morons.
