Put you didn't run to the center

Over the past 8 years, the center as accepted by most people I talk to is when the Democratic party caves in to the demands of the Republicans. In other words, Bush's version of "compromise"

Spare me the idiocy. You cost us this election that should have been ours to lose and I owe you not one thing.

For 30 years the leftwing has insisted the entire Democratic Party take positions, particularly social positions way out of the mainstream of their constituents and litmus testing them as if they were all House representatives of Berkeley. This has killed the Democratic majority permanently. Flag burning, Christian bashing, and insisting that grandtoting to your anti-war sentiments just isn't going to fly in North Carolina and Ohio - not to mention Louisiana and Utah. The DLC finally got some junior Senators in red states and you buffoons want them to stickup for AlQaida sympathizers in Cuba.

The Dems finally get a razor thin margin in Congress with Bush there to veto and you only want them to pull troops out of Iraq. Let me offer a clue to folks I suspect wouldn't know one if it smacked them over the head... Red, White and Blue America have their KIDS in Iraq and they want to feel proud about it,not have a bunch of anti-war for the sake of being anti-war lefties shouting defeatism

You are indeed agents of intolerance. Joe Lieberman votes with the party 90% of the time and you (cowards) turn on him like a plague because you know damned well you can't do jack tothe Repugs.

You did the same thing to Hillary, a women who dedicated her life to progressive causes, and for what, this unelectable, self-serving egomanic empty suit.

Screw off,cheeseball.

Wrong.

Once again-

You are making things up.

Wrong. Once again you're being told things you don't want to hear. YOU'RE making things up , to your detriment,in the same way you deluded yourself your candidate was some superhero because he gave an anti-war speech for the benefit of Iranian fundraisers back when he had no political skin in it.

I don't need a lecture on Iraq from bozos who were protesting it before it even began. Regardless of how well it was or wasn't or is or isn't succeeding, the FACTS are you buffoons have been against it for the sake of being against it. Reality has had no bearing for you historical or present.

It's been your one-note Johnny single issue , one that regular Americans do NOT "subscribe" to and you're about to have that message delivered and tatooed on your forehead on November 2nd for what, the third time now.

And gee, if you know what "most" of America wants why is the cartoon of a candidate you foisted on the ticket on a straight line for a landslide defeat by any objective polling or analysis...

not exactly.

For starters as a Democrat,Race has never been a issue for me.What concerns me is all the anti-american,anti-christian,people,and comments that are associated with Obama in one way or the other.

Agreed. While many in the bama campaign were in fact courting the Christian vote,it was more than offset by the anti-Christian bigotry of many of his supporters.

His Radical friends,Racist preachers, and his wife's statements about this Great Country, really makes me set back and take a long look at this candidate.

Agreed. His wife and associates are obnoxious. Not that there aren't obnoxious "radicals" on the right, but they at least have the sense to STFU during elections.

Where does he really come from? Why won't he release his records from his college days and his THESIS. You see there just seems to be some kind of a CHICAGO COVER UP that really makes me uneasy. And when you see Obamas own web site asking money and support for a known imprisoned terrorist in Palestine,That scary stuff.

A stretch. His background doesn't have much in the way of "scary" stuff...it just doesn't have much of ...anything.

you tell me all about it Einstein

So why does 61% of the electorate think the Iraq war was not worth it? I think you should tell them that they are not in the mainstream of opinion... lol...

pfft. ostrichian. even if this were an accurate poll if you were half as superior as you fringers claimed

1. how many of these people are registered to vote and DO vote

2. how does this opinion change across the electoral map

3. how does it fare on list of priorities

4. Does thinking it wasn't worth it mean the message of the lunatic fringe left reasonates.

But I forgot. You're the "smart" people (that just happen to be heading for a major electoral whupping again).

well, it worked for them in the primary didn't it?

He posits a "racial factor" to suggest that anyone who opposes Obama is a racist

was it 98% of the black vote Nobama got? Or 99?

Like it's whites that are voting on race, don't ya know?

And yeah, the riot threats have gotten real old. The DNC if it had any competence should have told Donna Brazille and Clyburn and all their vulgar domestic terrorists the National Guard would be waiting for 'em. Preferably with one-way tickets too.

Original article: The culture war: It's back!

Now THIS is a riot!

but nothing will happen practically speaking unless Obama himself calls Palen out on the competence factor

Geez, thanks for the best laugh I've had in weeks. This even beats Gary K's encouraging folks to believe it was "ok" to vote for Nobama on race and then railing about "culture wars". It even beats the infestuous troll of many sigs "Klytus/Fester/Manos/Jeffersonian/Fauntley/Payne" (et al) insisting whites are all racists when blacks voted >98% for Nobama in the primary.

Really THAT was a good one. LOL! Granted you'll likely be too irony-impaired to see just how much so.
