[Read more letters about this article: Here]Can't we all find a middle ground and solve issues we agree on?Winston Churchill once said "Show me and 20 year old man who isn't liberal and I'll show you a man without a heart,show me a 50 year old man who isn't conservative and I'll show you a man without a brain."The common everyday american lies somewhere between.Special interests have reduced the influence the common man has over his elected reps.Bandwagon propaganda on both sides keep us from at least dealing with the things we can agree on and instead focus us on what divides us,special interests rob us and are the only ones to gain.If Barrack was for real change he'd address this.He'd admit the surge worked,he would not lie about pulling out troops,nobody likes war.The 16 month timetable well he finally admitted that he'd leave enough to support logistics,training etc.This means 55,000 to 70,000 troops will be in Iraq for at least the next 5-10 years yet they get people all worked up over pulling troops out.Mislead and misinform.The new rap song by Ludicris the same MO a few Obama spokepeople with denounce but never Barrack himself,at least not till it becomes outrage as with Rev Wright.Don't shoot the messenger Rove makes good valid points.Sen Ted from Alaska only needs to change party affiliation to be Democrat and he can save his butt.No democrat will speak against him or go against the Democratic party lines for fear of being Liebermaned.He can then just claim he was unfairly treated by an over zealous Republican Justice investigation and be protected like Rep Jefferson in La.Don't make political war if you don't like war and speak for and stand up truth where you see it.Don't be a victim.If Barrack sounds too good to be true maybe it's the same old crap in a differint colored container.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Didn't Obama change his mind about his campaign money?These guys are politicians,both of them period.Anytime Obama gets called out on substance he cries foul.The Obaminables all come out about dirty tricks,they think this is below fair play,and how this shows the others "true colors" etc.etc..Still Obama gets by and still shows no real substance other than,catch phrases,and lines,craftly worded defensive explantations, he just hangs on as the flavor dujour,which is McCains point in these ads.Why not just show us what he's got,what he truly is about.We could use a true leader,one that can inspire and lead.It's lead to where and in what direction that Obama is a dangerous choice,we can't afford another Carter.Shut McCain up and show us what you got or accept a truth as a truth,Rock Star.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You hit the nail on the head.Divide and conquer the gameplan of special interest.Throw the bombs and polarize the electorate.I've gotten to the point I just believe in my heart there is no differince between Democrat or Republican just salesman selling,er pitching differint products, little of which is in most americans best interest and against the principles they ran for election on. I will vote to re-elect nobody for this reason,you can't trust what they state about what they will do with issues once in office.They avoid even making clear what they will truly do or how they truly feel at all costs.This,at least,makes the special interest have to work harder to have to keep corrupting the newly elected officials and creates a learning curve that forces a new batch to have to learn all over how to rob from us,unlike the ones now who seem to have that down to a science.The democrats for instance ,will not break ranks for nothing but fear,I have reservations about any representative that can be intimidated so easily and fear the wrath of special interest more than the fear of facing those who elected you to office for not doing what they elected you to do.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Keep on going Rush!!!I might not always agree with him but people like Rush kept special interest from monopolozing the media.He and the rest of the rebels put Brokaw,Rather and the like out of business.The scum of the earth are the ones so shallow they just hang on to the "Move On" mantra blindly and never truly take the time to study the issues themselves.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You are absolutly correct we need to get on with real issues.The problem is not a republican conspiracy however but rather the poor character of the game show host/used car salesmen/ambulance chasing phonies the special interest seem to find,buy and promote to liberals and conservatives alike.It is not in special interest best interest to solve many of these problems so they don't get solved.Edwards is no differint from many republicans a phoney trying to get what he wanted by promising something else.Maybe we should all consider re-electing nobody and clean house and see if it has an effect.Maybe Nancy Pelosi would get off her holier than tou carcass and do the peoples bidding on energy instead of her own if the people took back control.They separate us by left and right maybe it's time to re-examine how things get done and if we want them done that way.For every John Edwards there are 20 who really do have the views he claimed to have and who are hard working , selfless and of good character,and this does matter and should.We must overcome ideological blindness and unite.What happened to Lieberman was a crime but the inner party core will support Edwards,it is what it is.
